Players of the Week

Congratulations to Shawn Worth (adults) and Andrew Streeter (juniors) for being selected as the 2010 Tennisfax Classic Players of the Week. Worth survived back-to-back three set matches in 90 degree heat on Sunday to capture the men's open singles title. Streeter was unseeded in the boys' 18 singles draw and beat the #4, #5 and #1 seeds on his way to Monday's final where he was forced to retire with an injury. Streeter also captured the boys' 18 doubles title with partner Grant Veltman on Sunday night. Thanks to everyone who played the tournament and we hope to see you again next year!

Canceled Divisions

Md, M55s, M65s and M65d have been canceled due to a lack of entrants. The Md, M65s and M65d entrants were not charged for entry fees. After the tournament receives payment from the USTA, M55s entrants will receive refunds if their credit cards were charged for their entry fees.

Notes

The 20th annual Tennisfax Classic is a member of the Central Ohio Grand Prix tennis tour and is sanctioned by the USTA. The junior tournament is classified as a Midwest Level 5 event. Junior players are limited to one singles division and one doubles division. Adult players may enter no more than two divisions (one singles and one doubles).
