We would like to say thank you to all the players and parents who made the 1st Annual Sharon Lester Back to School Tennis Classic a success! We were able to get all of our matches in with beautiful weather, despite some extreme heat. Players, thank you all for showing such great sportsmanship this weekend and providing tremendous matches for us to watch. Parents, thank you for bringing all the players to the tournament in a timely manner and helping maintain a smooth process. And most importantly, thank you for signing up! PARKING
Parking at Sharon Lester Tennis Center can be a bit tricky if you are unfamiliar with the area. There are two options that are best sutible for players/parents who are planing in spending the day at park:
#1. Google/MapQuest "400 Park Drive NE Atlanta GA, 30306" and directions will take you to a residential area that has street parking along side the street. The street dead ends at a gate with a path that will lead you directly towards the tennis center. After you cross the bridge in front of the gate, remain to your right and the center will be in front of you upon the first hill you see.
#2. Park at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens Parking Deck - The first 30 minutes in the desk are free for those players being dropped off, but after that it is $2 an hour. As far as getting to the deck, there are two entrances, one on the corner of The Prado and Piedmont Ave (leads you to the top of the deck) and the other on the corner of Monroe Dr and Worchester Dr. (leads to bottom of the deck). After entering the deck, if you walk towards the exit opposite of the way you came in, you will see the tennis courts, can't miss them.

GEORGIA LEVEL 5 TOURNAMENT. Boys/Girls 12 & Under divisions
will use stage 1 green/green dot balls on a 78' court. FIC through
Quarterfinals (Except Boys 18s). Some consolations may not finish.
Draw limited to 16. Scoring format for BG12-16: 2 sets with a 3rd
set match tie-break. All Matches will be played on outdoor Hard
Courts. T-shirts. SATELLITE - Open to all players regardless of
ranking. Trophies for 1st & 2nd Places in Main Draw
Only.
