USTA National Men's 70, 85 & 90 Clay Court Championships

Please note: as of 9/28 there have been Changes in 70's seeds due to a #5 (Stephen Lunsford) seed drop out. Only players effected are Marvin Knight, Fernando Velasco, David Berg, and Richard Hillman, Please check your times and opponents for changes. The Pinehurst Resort is offering a $112.00 single and $56.00 dbl occupancy rate for all players and their guest. The resort is within walking distance of the tennis courts and offers complimentary transportation. The phone # to reserve for lodging is 1888 880-1257 (option 2). 2. The 70's singles & doubles draws will begin Sunday, September 29th (first round of singles will start at 11am Sunday). There will be one 85 singles and one 85 doubles scheduled Sunday at 2pm. Practice courts will be available Sunday morning from 8:00am-10am. Monday-Saturday practice courts available from 7:30am-8:15am. Sunday player check in is encouraged starting from 8:30am. All players must report in 30 min prior to their scheduled match. 3. Seeds will be posted September 23rd after 2pm. Draws will be posted September 26th after noon. 4. A "meet the players party" will be hosted at the tennis club on Sunday evening from 5:00pm-6:30pm (heavy hors d'oeuvre's, not a dinner). All Players and their guest are welcome to the party. Players are complimentary, guests are $10 per person. The "tournament dinner" will be at the St. Andrews room on Tuesday, October 1, 7:00pm-9:00pm (cash bar starts at 6:30pm). The dinner is player complimentary, guests are $35.00 per person. 5. All tiebreaks will be played as Coman tiebreaks. All main draw matches will be the best of three tiebreak sets. Each event will also offer a First Match Loser Consolation (FMLC). Consolation matches will consist of two tiebreak sets; a match (ten-point) tiebreak will be played in lieu of a third set. We look forward to another great tournament! 6. Some 70's Singles consosation will begin Monday at 10:30.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 22, 2013 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
