Sunday, Matches are on as scheduled
Matches are on as scheduled for Sunday morning at Dominion Club and Deep Run. We are down one court at TDC but we should be fine going forward. Due to the number of matches the players will have to play today, all QF matches are using no-add scoring. Then starting w/ the semifinals we will use regular scoring. Thanks!

10 and under format
For the 10 and unders only, we will be doing a round robin format using the USTA short set scoring. 2 out of 3 sets to 4 no-add scoringl. If you split sets you will play a tiebreaker to 7 for the 3rd set. There will be 5 matches and 1st and 2nd place will be decided by best record. If tied then sets lost then games lost accordingly.

Playing at Deep Run High School (DR on the drawsheet)
If you see DR on the drawsheet then you are playing at Deep Run High School. If it is your first match then you still need to check in at The Dominion Club to get your t-shirt and then you head over to Deep Run. If you see TDC on the drawsheet then you are at The Dominion Club.

Notes
ALL singles and doubles matches will be 2 out of 3 sets with a
10 point Super Tiebreaker being played for the 3rd set through the
finals. Doubles entries will be taken at the tournament desk until
Saturday at noon when the draws will be made and play will begin
Saturday afternoon after the singles matches. Please sign up at the
tournament desk when checking in for singles with your doubles
partner if not already signed up. I will only be taking the first 8
teams per age group due to court scheduling so if you know of you
partner before Saturday, please email me your team and I will enter
it into the computer. On Saturday, players having already signed up
for doubles online will be given preference to register by noon.
There is no consolation for this tournament due to the doubles
being played. Please note that I the tournament will start Friday
late afternoon to accommodate players who are already in school. If
you are travelling from out of town I will make every effort not to
play you Friday or if I have to I will schedule you Friday evening.
Please email me any conflicts you may have and I will try to
accommodate you as best I can.
Player Selection TypePlayers are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry TypeEntry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, August 19, 2012 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
