Park City Junior Great Pumpkin Warm Up

Because everyone's time is important, and because tournaments need to run on time...PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE PC MARC AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED MATCH TIME. We will be assessing late penalties to players who are not here at their scheduled match time. Thank you so much for your cooperation!

Matches will primarily be scheduled indoors during this tournament, but some matches on Thursday-Saturday during the day might be outdoors if weather is ok. Please bring clothing for either indoors or outdoors play.

I believe that I have worked around all the avoidances that were given to me in advance. Any problems with match times need to be sent to me at llambert@parkcity.org. If you have a conflict that occurs in your 2nd or 3rd round, please wait until you see if you actually win your first round before we adjust the later round match times. Players MAY NOT CALL THEIR OPPONENTS! Players may NOT reschedule the location of their match to Salt Lake for convenience sake. We want all kids to have the experience of playing a tournament around other kids, with officials etc. Thank you for helping us with this!

Main Draw singles matches will be best 2 out of 3 sets, regular scoring. Consolation singles matches will be 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will also be 2 out of 3 sets regular scoring with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set.

This tournament will NOT be scheduling matches on Sunday, October 21. Finals will be played either Monday, October 22 or Tuesday, October 23.

We are happy to have our "Halloween" tournament come back alive after being gone for two years during the PC MARC construction! This tournament runs over UEA weekend. We will be scheduling matches during the day on Thursday, October 18 and Friday, Octboer 19. If your school is NOT out for UEA, and you CANNOT PLAY during those days, please send me an email. I will then only schedule you for evening play during the week.

From the Salt Lake Airport, follow directions toward I-80 EAST. Sometimes it will say toward "Cheyenne". You will merge with I-15 for a few miles, but just keep following the I-80 East signs. You will cut across Salt Lake and begin climbing a canyon (Parley's Canyon) for about 20 minutes. After you pass the Jeremy Ranch exit, you will want the next exit - Kimball Junction/Park City. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right and you are now on Hiway 224 - the main road into town. Follow this for approximately 5 miles. You will see a large a white barn on your RIGHT. After the barn, you will want the 2nd stop light. Turn left here onto Holiday Ranch Loop Drive. (The Peaks Hotel is on this corner). Follow Holiday Ranch Loop for approximately 1/4 mile to a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Little Kate Road. The center is up a few hundred yards on your left. Welcome! Please make sure the usta has your correct phone and e-mail information. I communicate much information via e-mails before and during the tournament and you won't get the updates if you haven't given the usta the info!

The PC MARC has water on the courts, but does not provide cups. Please bring your own water bottle!
