I saw you at the Babolat tournament
It was nice seeing you at the Babolat tournament in Palm Springs. If you haven't already committed to coming I hope you will. I'm getting to be known as a "players' tournament director". I strive to provide the best service possible. I invite you to come to the best. Give it a try. Gold Ball Fever!
DOUBLES DRAW STARTS TUESDAY ENDS SATURDAY
As it's turning out there are more than 16 teams in the doubles event so the main draw, third/fourth place and consolation finals are scheduled for Saturday afternoon after singles play. I mentioned earlier to players that the doubles draw would end Friday so plan travel and lodging accordingly.
SINGLE SEEDS POSTED
Thanks for the input. I changed a couple seeds and now feel I have done the best I can do. Now it's time to focus on playing. If you're unseeded and felt that you should have been seeded then sorry about that but you'll have to prove yourself. If you felt like you should have been seeded higher than I have good reasons why you're not. The factors included - USTA Ranking, ITF Ranking and head to head records of players in this tournament. We looked closely to see if you've beaten anyone ahead of you. Lack of results and recent activity were considered. Surface, players you've beaten that are not here, site history were not considered.
Players - if you're coming in earlier than Sunday then you'll
need to contact me directly on practice courts. Practice courts are
available starting Sunday at 1:00 pm. Call BRSC at 208-376-1052 at
that point to reserve practice courts. I'm also pairing up doubles
partners so call me. If you want to wait to find a doubles partner
you can do that as well. I'm making the doubles draw Monday night
May 7th. At that point you'll be paired with whoever is left.
Modified Feed-In Consolation Format. The first two rounds in
singles and doubles feeds into the consolation draw. Please let me
know if you need lodging assistance. I may be able to work
something out if you really need it. Robert Sterk 208-602-1493
