THE BRIEF BIT OF RAIN WE HAD EARLY IN THE WEEK DID NOT PUT A DAMPER (PUN INTENDED!) ON WHAT TURNED OUT TO BE 8 GREAT DAYS OF TENNIS. WITH RECORD NUMBERS OF PLAYERS THIS YEAR, THE DEPTH OF THE QUALITY OF TENNIS WAS GREATER THAN EVER MAKING FOR SOME GREAT SPECTATOR EXPERIENCES AS WELL.
