This is a National Level 3 Event.
It will played Outdoors but we do have Indoor backup
available.
LOCATIONS FOR THIS TOURNAMENT
Grandville High School
4700 Canal, Grandville, MI 49418
TOURNAMENT WILL BE A 64 DRAW SINGLES AND INCLUDE A FEED-IN
CONSOLATION.
Main Draw will play two out of three full sets and Consolation will
play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the third set. Two
matches a day for the Main Draw and up to three matches per day for
the Consolation. The FIC Consolation does not finish and it will
stop at the Semi-finals due to the tournament lasting only three
days.
SCORING
All Main Draw matches will be full 2/3 sets and all Consolation
matches will play a Matchtiebreak (Supertiebreak) in lieu of the
third set with advantage scoring on all matches. Some players in
the Consolation may be playing up to three matches in a day. A
player will be entitled to a three minute break after splitting
sets and before playing the Matchtiebreak. The player is allowed to
leave the court, talk to a coach or parent, make a phone call, etc.
We recommend you DO NOT leave the court because of the short time
frame, and we will allow coaches, parents, etc to talk with you
behind the tarp of the court but not on the court. If a player is
late coming back to the court, the penalty is a time violation,
should an additional 20 seconds pass, a code violation for delay of
game is assessed, which in this case results in Loss of
Matchtiebreak or Loss of Match.
