Boulder Country Club Adult Open

Thanks for reading all tournament information. We get lots of questions and everything, or almost eveything, is answered here.

The BCC Adult Open is played indoors on three courts. Matches start in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, and after 5:00 p.m. during the week. Matches are also being played off-site. All matches are two sets, with a 10 point match tie-breaker in lieu of a third set.

The schedule of matches is published. The schedule is tight, so unfortunately there is no room to reschedule matches. It is possible for players to arrange to play off-site, but this must be approved prior to making arrangements. PLEASE CHECK IN AT LEAST 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR MATCH. Typically, this tournament runs on time, so your cooperation in being punctual is appreciated. If your match is at the Meadows Club, please go there directly to check-in.

Players are responsible for checking their first round match times by calling 303.530.3328 after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, or by checking this website. Please check in for your match 15 minutes prior to the start time. This tournament typically runs on or ahead of schedule so an early check -in can result in getting you started early. Again, players scheduled to play at the Meadows Club should go directly there.

All matches are two sets, with the match being decided by a 10 point tie-breaker if necessary. This is done to alleviate scheduling problems and make your tournament experience a good one. There is a two minute break between the second set and the start of the match tie-breaker. Players are not allowed to leave the court. Warm up is limited to 5 minutes, including serves.

If it is, please go directly to the Meadows Club and DO NOT check in at Boulder Country Club. A BCC staffer will be at the Meadows to check you in. Matches at the Meadows are indicated on the draw with the abbreviation "MSTC" Meadows Swim and Tennis Club.

The tournament is set up on a tight schedule. Matches start Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and run all day and evening. There is no room to reschedule. If you are interested in playing off-site at a different time and your opponent(s) agrees please check with the tournament staff prior to doing so.

Directions to BCC: Follow Highway 36 west to the Foothills exit. Take Foothills Parkway to Arapahoe Road and turn right. Take Arapahoe east approximately 3 miles to 75th St. and turn left. Take 75th north to Clubhouse Road and turn left. BCC is 3 blocks straight ahead. FROM I-25 go north to Highway 52. Go west on Hwy. 52 to 95th St. Go left on 95th to Lookout Rd. Go right on Lookout to 75th St. Turn left on 75th and go to Clubhouse Rd. (the first right) and turn right on Clubhouse Rd.

The BCC Adult Open will be a collection site for Racquets for All. The mission of the Racquets for All (RFA) program is to collect, assess, refurbish and distribute tennis racquets, tennis balls and other tennis equipment to individuals and organizations lacking access throughout the state of Colorado. RFA is volunteer led program sponsored on behalf of the Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation, the fundraising arm of USTA Colorado. Racquets for All is a way for the CYTF to formally collect used tennis equipment from tennis players in the community at tennis clubs, parks, schools and other places and then distribute that equipment to those throughout the state that are unable to play due to lack of access to adequate tennis equipment.
