What To Do In The Event of Inclement Weather

Have tournament....will RAIN. We need it so badly, that not even a Tournament Director will complain if it happens. However, I do want to let you know what you should do in the event of RAIN. First you should check this tournament homepage. I will update this site FREQUENTLY with updates to prevent needless phone calls to the tournament sites. If you do not have internet access, then you may call the CATA office phone at 512 443-1342 and check for updates. This is difficult to stay on top of and keep up-to-date so it is strongly recommended you check the homepage FIRST. Phone a friend, use a lifeline... :-)

HEADQUARTERS: Capital Area Tennis Association - Administrative Offices Only. Austin, TX Tournament will be played at multiple sites in Austin.
ENTRY: on-line registration (entry) only at www.texas.usta.com.
SEEDING: USTA Texas recommends the "All Factors Method" of seeding for Ad/Sr/SS divisions and that Committees use the Texas 12 Month Rolling Standings List for initial considerations. If other information is to be considered (such as head-to-head wins), emails must be sent to the Tournament Director immediately after entry deadline.
REGISTRATION: 15 minutes prior to first match.
FORMAT: Singles and Doubles main draws, and Singles consolation draws: Two-of-three sets with ad scoring;
Doubles consolation draws: 10 point tie-breaker in lieu of a third set.
SCHEDULE OF PLAY: 3:00pm Friday. NO SPECIAL REQUESTS ACCEPTED AFTER DRAWS ARE PUBLISHED. BE SURE YOU CAN PLAY 3PM FRIDAY. THIS TOURNAMENTS ACCEPTS ON-LINE ENTRY ONLY. Go to www.texas.usta.com. Click on "Tournaments", then use the Tournament ID # to search for the tournament.
