EASTER BOWL MATCH SITES

Below are the match sites for this year's Easter Bowl. The sites are within a 15 minute radius from Rancho Las Palmas. Practice court availability will also be listed with each site's information:

Rancho Las Palmas Country Club, 42000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage. (760) 862-4531. A special thank you to Head Pro Kevin Connolly of Rancho Las Palmas. Rancho Las Palmas will be offering a special drill session for tournament players on Saturday April 9th from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Please contact Kevin Connolly directly at (760) 837-2342. Complimentary practice court bookings for Rancho Las Palmas start Saturday April 9th at 12:00 noon. You must sign-up in the registration room at Rancho Las Palmas hotel that day starting at 7:30 a.m. For all other times, practice courts can be reserved by contacting Rancho Las Palmas tennis desk directly at (760) 862-4531. Tournament matches begin on Sunday.

• The Rancho Las Palmas Country Club is located off of Bob Hope Drive, turn left on Avenida Las Palmas directly across from the River shopping center. There are directions above to the hotel.

Palm Valley Country Club, 39205 Palm Valley Drive, Palm Desert. (760) 345-2745. A special thank you to Oliver Vorwald and Gordon Zawtun of Palm Valley Country Club. Palm Valley will be hosting a special Easter Bowl camp on Saturday and Sunday from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Space is limited, sign-up in advance, call (760) 345-2745. Practice courts are available on Friday & Saturday, please call in advance. Tournament matches will be played at Palm Valley starting on Sunday.

• From Rancho Las Palmas, turn right out of Rancho Las Palmas onto Bob Hope Drive. Turn right on Country Club Drive. Proceed approximately 4 miles down Country Club Drive until you reach Palm Valley Drive (past Cook Street). Turn left on Palm Valley Drive, tell the gate attendant you are there for the tennis tournament. Proceed down Palm Valley Drive, the entrance to the parking lot for the courts is on your left hand side (approximately 10 minutes from Rancho). Map link here:

• From Rancho Las Palmas hotel, turn right out of Rancho Las Palmas onto Bob Hope Drive. Turn right on Country Club Drive. Proceed approximately 4-5 miles down Country Club Drive (past Cook Street). The entrance to Palm Desert Resort is on the right hand side (Resorter Blvd). The gate attendant will direct you to parking and the tennis complex, the courts are accessed off Inverness Way (approximately 12 minutes from Rancho). Map link here:

Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, 78-200 Miles Avenue, Indian Wells. (760) 200-8200. This is the home of the BNP Paribas Open, recently won by Novak Djokovic & Caroline Wozniacki. A special thank you to Tom Fey of Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. Practice courts available on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. on, please call ahead to book. Tournament matches begin there on Monday.

• From Rancho Las Palmas hotel, turn right out of Rancho Las Palmas onto Bob Hope Drive. Turn right on Country Club Drive. Proceed down Country Club Drive until you reach Washington Street. Turn right on Washington Street. Go down Washington past Fred Waring Drive and the Tennis Gardens is on your right. To access the courts and parking, turn right on Miles Avenue, turn right into the Gardens (approximately 15 minutes from Rancho). Map link here:

The Springs Country Club, One Duke Drive, Rancho Mirage. There are no practice courts available at The Springs. Tournament matches begin there on Monday.

• From Rancho Las Palmas hotel, turn right out of Rancho Las Palmas onto Bob Hope Drive. Proceed down Bob Hope past Country Club Drive and turn left on Columbia (Eisenhower Medical Center is directly across). Tell the gate attendant you are there for the tennis tournament. Once through the gate, turn left on Columbia, proceed down Columbia one mile, the tennis courts will be on your left hand side on Columbia . Parking is on the street. • From Rancho Las Palmas, turn right out of Rancho Las Palmas onto Bob Hope Drive. Turn right on Country Club Drive. Proceed approximately 4 miles down Country Club Drive until you reach Palm Valley Drive (past Cook Street). As approved by the USTA Junior Competition Committee for 2011 in USTA National Championships:

• All main draw singles matches will be the best of three (3) tie-break sets.
• All Feed-In consolation (16's) and consolation compass draw (14's) singles matches will be the best of three (3) tie-break sets, with a Deciding Match Tie-Break (first to 10) played in lieu of a third set.
• All doubles matches up through the quarterfinal rounds will be the best of three (3) tie-break sets, with a Deciding Match Tie-Break (first to 10) played in lieu of a third set. Doubles semifinals, finals and 3rd place matches will be the best of three (3) tie-break sets.
Regular scoring will be used in all matches. Please note that there is now a mandatory three (3) minute rest period between the second set and the Deciding Match Tie-Break. Coaching is permitted during this authorized rest period.

Easter Bowl Boys & Girls 16's singles winners will be awarded Wild Cards to:

• Boys’ 16’s Singles Champion - Singles Qualifying at USTA Men's Futures event
• Girls’ 16’s Singles Champion - Singles Qualifying at USTA Women's 10K event

Here is the intended schedule of play for the Girls 14's division of the Easter Bowl. This is subject to change by the Referee for a cogent reason:

• Singles Main Draw: starting Sunday April 10th, one round each day, finals & 3rd place match on Saturday April 16th
• Singles Compass Draw consolation: starting Monday April 11th. Two rounds per day starting Tuesday April 12th. West, North & South draws will have one round on Wednesday April 13th, all other draws two rounds. Semifinals and finals of all consolation draws (with the exception of silver & gold) will take place on Thursday April 14th. Silver & Gold consolation draws finals will take place Friday April 15th.
• Doubles Main Draw: starting Sunday April 10th, 2 rounds will be played Sunday. Girls 14's will have doubles off on Monday April 11th, one round each subsequent day, finals & 3rd place match on Friday April 15th.

Here is the intended schedule of play for the Boys 14's division of the Easter Bowl. This is subject to change by the Referee for a cogent reason:

• Singles Main Draw: starting Sunday April 10th, one round each day, finals & 3rd place match on Saturday April 16th
• Singles Compass Draw consolation: starting Monday April 11th. Two rounds per day starting Tuesday April 12th, except South draw.. West & North draws will have one round on Wednesday April 13th, all other draws two rounds. Semifinals and finals of all consolation draws (with the exception of silver & gold) will take place on Thursday April 14th. Silver & Gold consolation draws finals will take place Friday April 15th.

• Singles Consolation: starting Tuesday April 12th, two matches per day starting Wednesday April 13th, finals on Sunday April 17th.
• Doubles Main Draw: starting Monday April 11th, one round each day with the exception of Wednesday April 13th (doubles off that day), finals & 3rd place match on Sunday April 17th.

Here is the intended schedule of play for the Boys 16's division of the Easter Bowl. This is subject to change by the Referee for a cogent reason:

• Singles Main Draw: starting Monday April 11th, one round each day, finals & 3rd place match on Sunday April 17th.
• Singles Consolation: starting Tuesday April 12th, two matches per day starting Wednesday April 13th, finals on Sunday April 17th.
• Doubles Main Draw: starting Monday April 11th, one round each day, finals & 3rd place match on Saturday April 16th.
