Sunday Morning: Updated at 10:15 am
All Boys Matches originally scheduled for 11:00 am will play at
Koch at noon.
The remainder of the day's schedule should be run on time at Koch
-- providing there has been adequate rest time from previous
matches
All Boys Consolation matches scheduled for 8:00 am will play at
Hanscom at 8:00 am
All Boys Main Draw matches scheduled for 8:00 am will play at
Hanscom at 9:30 am
All Girls Main Draw matches scheduled for 9:30 am will play at
Hanscom at 9:30 am
All Girls Consolation matches scheduled for 9:30 am will play at
Hanscom at 10:30 am
No optional consolation matches will begin before noon...we will
keep you posted.

Omaha Flooding:
Please note that the flooding in the Omaha area will not directly
affect the tennis facility or this tournament. However, the
flooding may change some of your travel plans. At this moment, road
closures are in effect for parts of I-680 and I-29.
Drill session
A drill session will be provided for a limited number of players
Friday July 1st from 3:30-5:00 pm, Call 402-4930420 for additional
information.
Check-in and Player Meeting
Check in and the Player meeting will be held at Koch Tennis Center
on Friday, July 1st. Check in for players is from 5:00 pm to 6:30
pm. The Player Meeting will be held at 6:30 pm. Koch Tennis Center
is at 12440 West Maple Road, Omaha, NE 68168. This is also the
tournament site where all matches are played.
Doubles Sign up
If you need a doubles partner, doubles partners may be matched at
check in. Deadline for finding a doubles partner will be Saturday
morning by 10 am, first day of tournament. If you secure a doubles
partner prior to the tournament start, please e-mail partners names
to the tournament director.
Additional Compass Draw
A compass draw format will used to give losing players additional
matches in singles. Each player may have at least 4 singles
depending on number of players opting to participate in the
additional draw. Additional matches do not add any additional
points to tournament value.
Medical Release
The USTA requires that we must have a signed medical release form
on file before a player can participate.
Confirmation Letter If you received a confirmation e-mail
stating that you were selected for the tournament, you have been
selected for BOTH singles AND doubles. Some confirmations have
inadvertently stated only accepted in doubles, others have stated
only accepted in singles, and others have stated both. If you are
selected to participated, you can play both! Sorry for any
confusion!
Format:
Singles Matches: Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets
with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in Lieu of a 3rd Set
Doubles Matches: 8 Game Pro Set with a
10-Point Match Tiebreak at 8 games all.

The Host Hotel is the Omaha Marriott. The Room rate is $79 per
night. The group code to use is TNOTNOA.

Tournament Location
The Tournament is being held at the 27 court National facility of
the year, Koch Family Tennis Center, 12440 West Maple Road
68164.

Directions to Hanscom-Brandeis Indoor Tennis Center (Indoor
Facility)
Hanscom-Brandeis Indoor Tennis Center, 3220 Ed Creighton Avenue,
68105. From Koch Tennis Center, turn left (east) onto Maple Street.
Travel east 2 miles. Take I-680 South for 4 miles. Merge onto I-80
East and travel 6.5 miles toward Downtown/Eppley Airfield. This
will merge into I-480. (Do not go toward Iowa.) Travel north on
I-480 for 1 mile. Take the Martha Street Exit, #1A. Turn left
(west) onto Ed Creighton Avenue. Travel 1/2 mile. The
Hanscom-Brandeis Indoor Tennis Center is on the right (north) side
of the street.
THE SELECTION PROCESS AFTER DEADLINE
Following the close of the registration deadline, the USTA will
make the initial selections for the National Open 12s at all of the
National Opens. The selection process is expected to be concluded
by the following Monday, or sooner when the USTA will contact the
tournament directors and allow all tournaments to begin contacting
the Alternates List for entrance into the events.
IF YOU ARE SELECTED AS AN ALTERNATE AND NOT A
COMPETITOR
Competitors are selected first for entry into the event. Alternates
will be notified by email to be placed on a waiting list. If you're
sent an alternate selected email for the National Open 12s in Omaha
and not selected by the USTA as a competitor -- you will be be
accepted into the event unless there is a full 32 draw. Each
Alternate selected to play will be notified by the tournament
director, and need to send a check to cover your entrance fee.
Players on the Alternates List not originally selected for entrance
into the tournament were not charged on their credit cards by the
USTA. Selected alternates need to send a check payable to The Omaha
Tennis Association, 1221 S 92 Circle, Omaha, Ne 68124.
