Monday Plan if it Rains
CALL KOCH AT 7:00 A.M. OR CHECK THE INTERNET TO DETERMINE IF MATCHES HAVE BEEN MOVED INDOORS. A decision will be made at 6:30 a.m. about whether matches will be moved inside to Hanscom.
BOYS' CONSOLATION: If the decision to move matches inside is made, the matches that will be moved will be the Boys' Consolation matches. All eight Boys' FIC matches (including the one match scheduled at 8:30) will then be played at Hanscom starting at 8:00 a.m.
GIRLS' CONSOLATION AND MAIN DRAW MATCHES: If it is raining in the morning, the decision on where these matches will be played and when will be made Monday morning.
PRACTICE AT HANSCOM: If matches are moved indoors, Hanscom will be available for practice at 7:15 a.m.

Hanscom Brandeis Indoor Tennis Center 3220 Ed Creighton Avenue, 68105 From Koch Tennis Centerturn left (east) onto Maple Street. Travel east 2 miles. Take I-680 South for 4 miles. Merge onto I-80 East and travel 6.5 miles toward Downtown/Eppley Airfield. This will merge into I-480. (Do not go toward Iowa.) Travel north on I-480 for 1 mile. Take the Martha Street Exit, #1A. Turn left (west) onto Ed Creighton Avenue. Travel 1/2 mile. The Hanscom-Brandeis Indoor Tennis Center is on the right (north) side of the street.

Boys' Doubles Semis at 6:30 p.m.
Girls' Doubles at 7:30 p.m.
Because of weather, there will be only one round of doubles played on Sunday

July 4 Main Draw Matches
All main draw matches for Sunday have been moved indoors to Hanscom. The Boys matches will start at 4:00 the girls matches will start at 5:30.
Doubles matches will be played as soon as possible after the singles matches.

July 4 Second Round Consolation Matches
All second round matches have been moved indoors to Hanscom. WARNING: Some second round matches that originally were scheduled outdoors in the afternoon are now scheduled as early as 11:00 a.m.

Schedule For Sunday July 4
All consolation matches have been moved inside, due to the uncertain weather conditions. We will attempt to play all main draw matches outside, as close to scheduled times as possible.

THE SELECTION PROCESS AFTER DEADLINE
Following the close of the June 3rd deadline, the USTA will make the initial selections for the National Open 12s at all of the National Opens. The selection process is expected to be concluded bythe following Monday, or sooner when the USTA will contact the tournament directors and allow all tournaments to begin contacting the Alternates List for entrance into the events.

IF YOU ARE SELECTED AS AN ALTERNATE AND NOT A COMPETITIOR
Competitors are selected first for entry into the event. Alternates will be notified by email to be placed on a waiting list. If you're sent an alternate selected email for the National Open 12s in Omaha and not selected by the USTA as a competitor -- you will be be accepted into the event unless there is a full 64 draw.Each Alternate selected to play will be notified by the tournament director, and need to send a check to cover your entrance fee. Players on the Alternates List not originally selected for entrance into the tournament were not charged on their credit cards by the USTA. Selected alternates need to send a check payable to The Omaha Tennis Association, 1221 S 92 Circle, Omaha, Ne 68124.

Drill session and additional no-points matches
A drill session will be provided for a limited number of players Friday July 2, Call 402-4930420 for additional information. Last year a compass draw format was used to give losing players additional matches in singles. Each player had at least 4 singles A similar format may or may not be used this year, depending upon the size of the draw. Additional matches do not add any additional points to tournament value.

Doubles Sign up
If you need a doubles partner, Doubles partners may be matched at check in. Deadline for finding a doubles partner will be Saturday morning by 10am, first day of tournament. Singles play begins 8:00am Saturday. On Sunday: player and family no/charge cookout at Koch Family Tennis Center(24 hardcourt facility)

Check-in and Player Meeting
Check in and the Player meeting will be held at Koch Tennis Center on Friday, July 2. Check in for players is from 5pm to 6:30 pm. The Player Meeting will be held at 6:30pm. Koch Tennis Center is at 12440 West Maple Road, Omaha, NE 68168. This is also the tournament site where all matches are played.
