LATE ENTRIES
Late entries will be put at the bottom of the Alternate List, though their names will not be published. If you wish to be a "late entry", then you can e-mail or call us. It does not matter what your ranking is at the moment, you will go on the alternate list after the on-time applicants. Late entries are ordered by the time that the tournament received notification.
|
ON-SITE ALTERNATE PROCEDURE
If you are an alternate and have not been admitted by late Friday, July 2, then you can be an on-site alternate. Alternates must sign-in at the tournament desk no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. If a default or withdrawal creates a vacancy in the draw, then the alternate who has signed-in and is highest on the alternate list will fill the vacancy. Alternates may play doubles even if they are not admitted to singles. Effective January 1, 2009, the procedure for accepting on-site alternates into the draw was rewritten for clarification as follows: On each day in which alternates may be accepted into a draw, any alternate desiring admittance must check-in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. The order of the alternate list is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent National Standings List, and not in the order in which the players check in.

USTA RELEASE FORM
All players and parents must complete and sign a USTA Release form prior to check-in. If the player is traveling without a parent, then the parent must send the signed release with the player. Please click "more info" to print a release.
