USTA National Open Hard Court Championships

Winners of the men's and women's singles draw will be awarded a wild card to a USTA Professional Circuit Tournament. There will be a consolation draw for all events. FIRST MATCH LOSERS WHO WANT TO PLAY THE CONSOLATION SHOULD TELL THE TOURNAMENT DESK upon the conclusion of their first match. Identify that you will be playing at Balboa Tennis Club in the National Open for special rates at nearby hotels. Expected Start of Play Men's Singles will begin in the afternoon on Monday, June 7.Depending on the size of the draw, Women's Singles will most likely begin on Tuesday, June 8, yet make sure to check the draw for confirmation. The Doubles Draws will close at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8. Contacting the Tournament Before the tournament, call 619-295-4242 (Tournament Director) weekdays from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. During the tournament and after hours, please call 619-405-3853 or e-mail director@balboatennis.com Complimentary Practice Courts are available on Sunday, June 6 at Balboa Tennis Club from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. Registration for the 2010 National Open will begin at 11:00 on Monday, June 7. Players can pick up the tournament souvenir at this time. Whether you enter online or use an entry form, please be sure to include your cell phone number or a local phone number where you can be reached quickly. A Player's luncheon will be held on Wednesday, June 9 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the Balboa Tennis Clubhouse. Radio Tennis will be web casting the final events on Sunday, June 13. Cash prizes will be awarded to all finalists, as well as gold, silver and bronze balls.

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 30, 2010 11:59:00 PM Pacific Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
