CHECK-IN / START TIMES
Player check-in will be Wednesday, November 24, 4:00-7:00pm at Queen City. Player info packets and first round match times will be available at that time. Play will begin at 8am on Thursday morning.

MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
All players must turn in a medical release/waiver, signed by a parent or legal guardian. Please download this form at the USTA web site by clicking on the link provided, so that you will have it with you at check-in. more info

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
Any alternate desiring admittance must check in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time (8am Thursday).

DOUBLES
If you did not sign up online with a specific partner and you know who you will be playing doubles with, please email us that information. If you would like to play but do not have a partner, we will try to get you matched up with someone at check-in.

WITHDRAWAL / REFUND POLICY
If the player withdraws because of an injury or illness, the player shall deliver written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional to the Referee no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament and if the player withdraws because of a personal emergency, the player must deliver a written report of the situation no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament and the Referee shall determine whether the situation is a personal emergency.
In all other cases, a refund is not required.

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts will be available beginning Wed. 11/24. In order to reserve a practice court time, you may call (513-771-2835) and prepay with a credit card at the rate of $13/half hour. Reservations may be made 7 days in advance. On Thursday,Queen City will have times available prior to 8am but during the tournament (after 8am), players may call Court Yard Racquet Club to reserve courts..513-777-5530. Please tell them that you are playing in the National Open at Queen City.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY
On Thursday (Thanksgiving Day) we will be playing two rounds of singles in the front draw and one round in the consolation. We should be finished with the last matches of the day by ~3:00-3:30pm so you can make dinner plans accordingly. Doubles will start Friday afternoon about 2:00 after the singles matches, and we will play two rounds. We will also play two rounds of doubles each day thereafter to get the doubles draw finished in a timely manner.

LEVEL / FORMAT / SCORING
This is a National Level 2 and a Midwest Level 3 event. Singles draws will be 64 with full feed-in through the quarters and playoff for 3/4 place. Singles matches will be best of three tiebreak sets. Doubles will be 8 game pro sets with a 10 point match tiebreak at 8 all.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 28, 2010 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
