Medical Release Form
We have received very few medical release forms so far. Sending them in now will make the check-in process much smoother.
Please mail or fax (501-223-0531) a signed medical release form to the Arkansas Tennis Association office, 2024 Arkansas Valley Drive, Suite 302, Little Rock, AR 72212. You will not be allowed on the court without a medical release on file signed by both the player and parent.

Doubles Info
If you plan to play doubles, and are not already signed up, please let me know as soon as possible that you want to play doubles. Also, if you know who you are playing with, and I don't already have that info, please let me know who will be your partner. Doubles entries will close Friday, July 2 at 7:30 pm. We will not pair up partners. If you do not already have a partner, you will be given an opportunity to find one at the players' meeting Friday night.

Site is Burns Park Tennis Center
The site for all matches is the Burns Park Tennis Center, 4000 Joe Poch Lane, N. Little Rock, AR, 72118, less than a mile from Exit 150 off of I-40. The pro shop phone number is 501-791-8585. You may call the pro shop to check on practice courts, get information on stringing, etc. If you call and do not get an answer, DO NOT leave a message -- call back at another time.

Check-in and Player Meeting
Check-in will be Friday, July 2, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Burns Park Tennis Center tournament room. A player meeting will be held at 6:15 on the Stadium Court. This will be a good opportunity to find a doubles partner if you do not have one.

Tournament Desk Phone Number
Beginning Friday, July 2rd at 4:00 pm, the tournament desk phone number will be 501-681-3188. This number is for use in case of emergency, during rain delays, etc. DO NOT leave a message on the phone -- continue to call until someone answers. For information on stringing, practice courts, etc. call the Burns Park Pro Shop -- 501-791-8585.

Late Entries
Late entries will only be accepted by email, cindy@arktennis.com, or fax, 501-223-0531. Be sure to include the players USTA number and contact information. No late entries will be accepted by phone. All late entries will be placed at the bottom of the alternates list.

Withdrawals
If you are selected and must withdraw from the tournament, please notify us as soon as possible. This will be a help to others waiting to get into the tournament. All withdrawals after the deadline must be made in writing by email, cindy@arktennis.com. Withdrawals after the deadline must include player name, USTA number, a detailed reason for the withdrawal, mailing address, phone number, and a written verification.

Please remember that North Little Rock is in the Central Time Zone!

Practice Sites
Indoor courts will be available at Burns Park for $10 per 1/2 hour starting on 7/2. Outdoor practice courts are available free of charge ( space will be available before and after singles play each day), starting on 7/2. Practice courts will also be available at Lakewood on a limited basis. Directions will be in your packet.

Alternates
If you are an alternate, make sure that the tournament director has your correct contact information. If you are "next in" on the alternate list and we do not have your correct information and are unable to contact you, we will have to move on to the next player on the list.

Refunds
Refund of Entry Fees. Effective January 1, 2009, there are new rules related to the refund of entry fees. A player shall now receive an entry fee refund if: • the entry is not accepted • the withdrawal is for previously authorized entry into another tournament or • the Tournament Committee has received written verification no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament that the withdrawal is for injury, illness, or personal emergency. Injury or Illness Written Verification Requirement: If the player is not playing because of an injury or illness, the player shall deliver written verification of the injury or illness from a medical professional to the Referee no later that the last scheduled day of the tournament. Personal Emergency Written Verification Requirement: If the player is not playing because of a personal emergency, the player shall deliver a written condition of the situation no later that the last scheduled day of the tournament and the Referee shall determine whether the situation is a personal emergency. In all other cases, a refund is not required. Please read below for detailed information regarding withdrawals after the entry deadline.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 3, 2010 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
