TOURNAMENT NOTES & ATP WILDCARDS AWARDED
The event is one of the most prestigious amateur tennis events in the United States, and we welcome you and your family to Delray Beach, Florida. The event is organized by the sister company of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, the world's only 10-day combined ATP Champions Tour Event & ATP World Tour Event, and we will be awarding the winner of the Boys' 18's singles division a QUALIFYING WILDCARD into the ATP World Tour Event, held February 21-27, 2011!
In addition, the USTA will be awarding the 18's Singles Champion a Singles Main Draw Wildcard at the US Open Juniors & a Main Draw Wildcard into a Futures Event. The 16's Singles Champion will receive a Singles Qualifying Wildcard at a USTA Men’s Futures Event*...
** Players must be age eligible by ITF Rules to receive the Wildcard allocated to this event. Please contact the USTA if you have any questions about the Wildcards that they are distributing.

DOUBLES - PLAYERS MUST RE-REGISTER AT REGISTRATION - Sat., July 17
The DOUBLES event is 'single elimination' (all players MUST re-register at the Player’s Registration) with matches beginning on Sunday, July 18 (rounds 1 and 1/2 of round 2). If you know your doubles team, please e-mail the team to IBaron@YellowTennisBall.com (Important: make sure we reply back to you to confirm receipt of the e-mail). All singles players may play doubles. If you do not have a partner, please let us know at Registration and we will do our best to pair you with another person. PLAYERS MAY ONLY PLAY DOUBLES IN THE SAME DIVISION AS THEY ARE PLAYING SINGLES...
New USTA Rule Change: Doubles matches shall use the best of 3 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set, except for the for the semifinals, final & 3rd/4th playoff, which will be the best of 3 tiebreak sets - New in 2010 (USTA Rule Change)

Eligible players** and all parents/coaches of the participants will have the availability to meet and exchange information with the attending college coaches. Access into the Expo is free. **Please comply with NCAA rules that state: players may attend if they have not yet signed a letter of intent with another college and have completed their junior year of high school.

As they do every year, Scholarship For Athletes will give a complimentary educational presentation to all participants and event guests about the college recruiting process and college scholarships (Saturday, July 17). SFA is a consulting firm that helps student-athletes make sure they end up at the best school for them on and off of the court. If you have questions about the differences between schools, what you should be doing now, or finding the schools that match your tennis level, Scholarship For Athletes can help you. This session will be very informative and it is FREE. This year there will be a few college coaches speaking during the session. There will be time for Q&A immediately after Ross Greenstein speaks. MATCH SITES
All players should check-in at the site that they compete at...The Boys' 18's sites are approximately 3 miles from each other. The Boys' 16's sites are approximately 4 miles from each other. The Boys' 18s sites are approx. 10-15 minutes from the Boys' 16's sites. Weather pending, BOTH the 18's and 16's divisions will move to the Delray Beach Tennis Center from days six through eight, with highlights of both the 18's and 16's singles finals being televised....

WEATHER
Please remember to drink plenty of liquids before, during and after practice and match play. It is normally humid in Florida in July—many players cool down by bringing coolers with ice and a towel to soak their heads.

WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS
All Withdrawals must be sent via email to ibaron@yellowtennisball.com (must receive confirmation from event). The last day to withdrawal and receive a refund is Sunday, July 11. All withdrawal refunds will be mailed by check within 7 days of the completion of the tournament.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 24, 2010 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
