WELCOME
This event is one of the premier amateur tennis events in the United States, and we welcome you and your family to Delray Beach, Florida. This event is organized by the sister company of the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, featuring the only combined ATP Champions Tour Event (McEnroe, Rafter, Wilander, Cash) and ATP World Tour Event (Blake, Fish, Bryan Brothers, Haas) in the world, and we are excited to announce that we are creating a televised show highlighting the finals of both the Boys and Girls singles finals.

DOUBLES SIGN-IN: All players must re-register
ALL PLAYERS MUST RE-REGISTER at the Player’s Registration on Saturday, April 10 - sign-in closes at 4:00pm. All singles main draw players may play doubles. If you already have a doubles team, please e-mail the doubles team to us (Important: make sure we reply back to you to confirm receipt of the e-mail). If you do not have a partner, please let us know at Registration and we will do our best to pair you with another person. The DOUBLES tournament is single elimination and begins on Sunday, April 11.

The selection for the event is based on the 3/17/10 National Standing List. The seedings will be based on the 3/31/10 National Standing List.

BOYS' & GIRLS' SEMIS & FINALS SITE
Both the Girls and Boys two days of play (Friday & Saturday - weather pending) will take place at the DELRAY BEACH TENNIS CENTER (DBTC) as the tournament will be creating a one-hour televised show highlighting the Boys and Girls singles finals. Directions: (561-243-7360) (201 W. Atlantic Ave.) From I-95 Exit Atlantic Ave., head east, Tennis Center will be 1 mile on left.

FREE 20-MINUTE MENTAL TOUGHNESS CONSULTATIONS
Dr. Jorge Valverde will be providing 20-minute free consultations for players, parents and coaches at the Player Registration and at the Delray Swim & Tennis Club during the week of the event. This is an excellent opportunity for players who want to develop mental toughness. WEATHER
Please remember to drink plenty of liquids before, during and after practice and match play. It is normally humid in Florida in April—many players cool down by bringing coolers with ice and a towel to soak their heads.

ALTERNATES
Replacing of Player Before Draw is Made: The tournament committee shall replace a player who was accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next player on the Section's endorsement list. The tournament committee shall replace a player who was NOT accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next highest remaining alternate on the National Standings List...
Replacing of Player After Draw is Made, but Before the Completion of the 1st Round: The tournament committee shall replace a player after the draw is made, but before the completion of the 1st round with the next highest remaining alternate...
No Replacement of Players is Made After the Completion of the 1st Round: No players are replaced in the draw after the completion of the 1st round. For example, a player who wins their 1st round, but cannot play their 2nd round due to injury, is NOT replaced with an alternate.

The NSL that will be used for selection into this event will be
published on 3/17/10and the NSL that will be used for seeding will
be published on 3/31/10.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, March 18, 2010 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
