Future Match Info Report Alternates By Event

Match schedule and format
In singles we will be playing 2 out of 3 sets with a match tie break ( 10 point) in lieu of the 3rd set and doubles will be an 8 game pro set with a match tie break ( 10 point) to be played if you reach 8 games all . Thursday we will play first and second round main draw singles matches and first round singles consolation. , Friday will bethird round main draw ,2 and 3rd round consolation, and possibly two doubles matches .

Practice Courts
There will be complimentary practice courts Wednesday till 5 pm , the park closes promptly at 5 pm for the holiday on wednesday so get your practice in early on wednesday. There will be some practice courts available during the tournament . After 8 am each day we will limit each warm up/practice sesssion to 20 minutes with 4 people per court .

Check In
Check in for the tournament will be Wednesday between 2-4 pm , Sanlando park CLOSES PROMPTLY AT 5 PM FOR THE HOLIDAY ON WEDNESDAY so please try to check in early and get your practice in early on wednesday. If you decide not to check in on wednesday which is recommended but not mandatory please check in in plenty of time before your match to receive gift and give medical release form and pay if needed .

DOUBLES
We will have a doubles sign up at the tournament desk and it will close at 1 pm thursday the 27th , please make sure that you sign up. the fact that you signed up online is not enough you MUST signup at the tournament also on Thursday the 27th before 2:30 pm.

USTA release and USTA medical release forms
All players must have Medical Release Forms completed and signed by a PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. Please be ready to present this form when you check in for the tournament.

Eddie Herr and National open
Players must choose which tournament they wish to play , you CAN NOT play both . If accepted in the Eddie Herr you will not be able to play the National open and vice versa. If you are in the National Open and on the alternate list for the Eddie Herr please make a decision which tournament you want to play and contact the tournament directors .

Withdrawal and Refunds
Any withdrawal before draw closes on october 30th should be done online , after the deadline the withdrawal must be by email to the Tournament Director at bmorris41@hotmail.com. Please contact him as soon as you know you are going to withdraw. If you withdraw after the 19th of november there will be NO refunds for any reason. 19th is the last day to withdraw and request a refund.

Directions to Sanlando Park
I-4 East: take exit #92/436 in Altamonte Springs. Make a left on 436 and go 0.2 miles and make a right on Douglas Ave. Go 0.9 miles and make a left on W. Highland St. Sanlando Park is at the end of the street. I-4 West: Take exit #94 and turn right on 434 and go 0.2 miles and turn left on Markham Woods Rd which will turn into Douglas Ave. Continue on Douglas 0.8 miles and turn right on W Highland St. The park is at the end of the street. From the Orlando International Airport go North on 436 straight out of the airport. You will continue until you pass over I-4 in Altamonte Springs(20-30 minutes). Once you pass over I-4 you will make a right on Douglas Ave. Go .9 miles and make a left on W. Highland St. Sanlando Park is at the end of the street. SANLANDO PARK 401 W HIGHLAND ST ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL 32714 .

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 30, 2008 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
