Match Updates for May 17
See draws on this website and posted at ATC for adjusted match times on Sunday, May 17.
|
Rain Update 12:00 PM May 16
Thank you for battling the rain to attend the player meeting at 11:00 AM on Saturday, and congratulations to the door prize winners! We also hope you enjoyed the player lunch provided by Ventana Grille.
Per information distributed verbally and in writing at the player meeting:
- No Singles matches will be played today, Saturday, May 16, due to continued rain in the forecast. We will make a determination about Doubles matches for today after 2:00 PM.
- New Singles match times for tomorrow (Sunday), along with Doubles draws, regardless of whether Doubles are played today or not, will be posted after 3PM today.
- Adjusted scoring will be used on Sunday for both Main Draw and Consolation matches.
- Main draw scoring for Sunday only (barring additional rain) will be two sets, regular scoring, with a 10 point match tie-break in lieu of third set.
- Consolation for Sunday only (barring additional rain) will be 8-game prosets, regular scoring.
- We will plan to play one round of Doubles Sunday after Singles concludes (either round of 32 or round of 16, depending upon whether round of 32 is played on Saturday evening).
- We anticipate returning to best of three tie-break sets (regular scoring) on Monday for all Singles, Main Draw and Consolation.
- Two rounds of Doubles will follow Singles on Monday, 8-game prosets, regular scoring.
- Due to the rain today (Saturday), and limitations on the number of matches players may play in one day, Doubles will necessarily be extended to Tuesday, with at least the Finals being played that day (and possibly Semi Finals, depending upon whether the round of 32 is played on Saturday).
- The group photo has necessarily been postponed until Sunday morning at 7:45 AM.
- Please remember to check this website and call the rain line, 817-459-6166 (included in your player packet) for rain updates and other information.
- Note: Both Main Draw Semi Final matches will be at 8:45 AM on Tuesday instead of staggered, as originally planned, due to the extension of Doubles play on Tuesday.
