Sunday match times - courts dry
The courts are dry, Sunday, November 29th. Two FIC matches need to be concluded from Saturday night. They will continue their match at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Max Pham vs. A. Shintani (6-1, 2-5 deuce), Kolzowki vs. D. Park (5-4 15 all). The following round will play after they finish their match. Their next round opponents (P. Shin & J. Gordy) should arrive at the tennis around 8:35-8:45 a.m. to see what time they will play. All other matches will be held as posted.

All participants selected for this tournament need to forward us their t-shirt size (adult small, medium or large) via email or phone by 11/14/09.

Tournament Hotels & Discounts
Dana Point Marina Inn (800) 255-6843 or (949) 496-1203. Tournament players (identify using "Boys 12 National Open") to get a special rate of $71.20 per night, double occupancy). 8-10 rooms are being held at this rate, reservations must be made by November 15th to secure the rooms. Cancellation policy is 72 hours. 5 minutes from Dana Hills Tennis Center. The Doubletree Club Hotel - Orange County Airport is offering tournament players a special rate at $99 per night for the first weekend (includes breakfast and free shuttle to the airport). Ten rooms are being held and must be reserved by November 10th to guarantee this rate. Please call 1-800-222-8733 and use "Boys' 12 National Open" as the group name or "B12" as the group code for the discounted rate. Cancellation policy is 72 hours. Doubletree Club Hotel, 7 Hutton Center Drive, Santa Ana, CA 714-751-2400. 30 minutes from Dana Hills Tennis Center, good location if you have other children in National Open events located in Costa Mesa or Irvine area.

Pre Tournament Drill Session
Tournament players can reserve a spot to hit with the pro on Wednesday, November 25th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please call or email and place yourself on the list (space may be limited). Practice courts will be available on that day as well (first come, first serve).

Doubles Entry
The doulbes will be held open for all players in THE SINGLES DRAW to enter up to Thursday, November 26th (12 noon). Doubles play is tentatively scheduled to begin Friday. Players will need to confirm the doubles sign-up sheet even if they entered online. All players who do not have partners can sign-up and we will draw for pairings. You can email us partnerships and this can be confirmed on-site. Please do not request phone numbers for players as we will not provide them due to legal issues.

Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner
The Brigg in Dana Point Harbor will be offering a full 7-course turkey dinner for our players ($15.95 per player). Please call 949-496-9046 for reservations. Fisherman’s in San Clemente offers a full turkey and side dishes at your table (call for prices and reservations 949-498-6390).

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event

It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 29, 2009 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
