DOUBLES
STARTING IN 2008, THIS LEVEL OF ITF TOURNAMENTS (B1) WILL USE A NEW FORMAT FOR DOUBLES - TWO TIE BREAK SETS WITH A DECIDING MATCH TIE BREAK (10 POINT) IN LIEU OF A THIRD SET. NO-AD SCORING WILL ALSO BE USED. Players must sign-in for doubles on-site. The doubles deadline is 2:00 p.m on the first day of your gender's singles competition. As with all ITF events, players must wear appropriate clothing (no t-shirts) and partners must wear similar colors. Acceptance for doubles follows ITF regulations.

INTERNATIONAL PLAYER IDENTIFICATION # (IPIN)
Starting in 2008 all players participating in tournaments on the ITF Junior Circuit must register for IPIN (International Player Identification Number) with the ITF. IPIN membership has an annual membership fee of $20 (Junior Circuit Membership only) or $45 (Junior and Pro Circuit Membership). ITF B1 EVENT & USTA LEVEL 1
The 2008 Easter Bowl is an ITF Grade B1 event for ITF ranking purposes, along with a USTA Level 1 event for USTA national ranking purposes. It is "closed" to American players only.

2008 EASTER BOWL ITF B1 ACCEPTANCE PROCESS
The 2008 Easter Bowl ITF selection process has been posted. Please click on the link provided here for a detailed selection procedure. The process is the same as in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

ITF AGE ELIGIBILITY
The ITF junior age eligibility rule will be utilized at these championships for the 18's division. To be eligible to participate, a player must be born between January 1, 1995 and December 31, 1990. Players must have reached their thirteenth (13) birthday prior to the start of competition.

WITHDRAWALS
The deadline to withdraw without incurring penality is 14 days prior to the scheduled start (Girls, Monday March 24th Boys, Tuesday March 25th). Players not planning to attend the event, including alternates and qualifies, should contact the tournament to withdraw. Players not contacting the tournament will receive both ITF and USTA suspension points.

GIRLS 18'S EVENT
The Girls 18's ITF event will begin on Monday April 7th and conclude on Saturday April 12th. Doubles play will start on Tuesday April 8th. Finals of both singles & doubles will be on Saturday April 12th.

BOYS 18'S EVENT
The Boys 18's event will begin on Tuesday April 8th and conclude on Sunday April 13th. Doubles play will commence on Wednesday April 9th. Finals of both singles & doubles will take place on Sunday April 13th.

ITF JUNIOR CIRCUIT RULES & REGULATIONS
All rules and regulations of the ITF Junior Circuit, the Junior Circuit Code of Conduct, and the Rules of Tennis adopted by the ITF will be used at this event. Default will be declared for players not present 15 minutes after a match is called. All matches will be the best of 3 sets with 12-point tiebreakers at 6 games each in all sets. Proper tennis attire is required (such as collared shirt and tennis shorts or skirt) for all participants. No T-shirts, sweatshirts, or gym shorts will be allowed on the court. Doubles pairs are required to wear similar colors.

The 16's events of the USTA Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship uses ITF age eligibility. In order to be age-eligible for the tournament, players must be born January 1, 2004, or later. If your birthdate is before this date, please do not register. Players must be 13 by start of the main draw.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, March 13, 2008 5:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
