IMPORTANT DOUBLES INFORMATION-ALL PLAYERS!
WE WANT YOU!!! DON'T MISS THE DOUBLES EVENT! DOUBLES WILL START ON SATURDAY (the first day of the tournament) AND WE WILL BE PLAYING THE FIRST TWO ROUNDS OF DOUBLES ON THAT DAY (after one round of singles is completed). All players who are selected into the tournament are eligible to play doubles, regardless of whether or not you signed up online. ALL PLAYERS WHO WANT TO PLAY DOUBLES NEED TO E-MAIL THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR TO CONFIRM YOUR ENTRY. Even if you signed up online, we still need to hear from you to confirm your doubles entry. 1) If you already have a partner, include their name in your e-mail. We will enter your team into the doubles event. 2) If you need help finding a partner, we will do our best to assist you. Send us an e-mail, including phone numbers if you would like, and we will forward your request on to other players seeking doubles partners. ***For privacy reasons we do not give out contact information that we have on file from the USTA. When you do make contact with someone and are able to pair up, let us know so that we can enter your team into the doubles event. 3) If you are in the singles event and do not want to play doubles, please e-mail us to let us know so that we might make that spot available to another player. Because we are starting doubles on Saturday and will be playing two rounds, it would be very helpful if we had all the teams confirmed by the end of the player meeting on Friday, June 27. Send your e-mail to Wendy Franz at franz@midlandtennis.com. The doubles entrants lists will be updated as teams are confirmed. Continue to check the updated Doubles Players lists as teams are added (links are at the top of this page under "Tournament Reports").
