MANDATORY CHECK-IN/ FIRST ROUND MATCHES
ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK-IN AT THE CLAREMONT CLUB IN PERSON, TURN IN THEIR MEDICAL WAIVERS AND SIGN A CLAREMONT CLUB WAIVER. CHECK-IN IS AVAILABLE EITHER FRIDAY FEBRUARY 15TH BETWEEN 2PM-6PM OR SATURDAY FEBRUARY 16TH BETWEEN 7AM-12NOON. Players will be given their player ID cards and tournament t-shirt at this time. This ID card MUST be shown in order to play their first match. Please be aware that some first round mataches may be scheduled as early as 8am. Once you have your player ID you may check-in at your scheduled tournament site. If you are checking in Saturday morning you should try and arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled match time so you will have enough time to go through the tournament check-in and get to your match on time. Remember all players must check-in at The Claremont Club before their first match at one of these times regardless of when or where they are scheduled for their first match. ON SITE ALTERNATES
ALL PLAYERS WHO WISH TO SIGN-IN AS AN ON SITE ALTERNATES SHOULD DO SO AT THE CLAREMONT CLUB, REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEIR DIVISION IS PLAYING FIRST ROUND MATCHES. ON SITE ALTERNATES SHOULD ALSO INDICATE IF THEY ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING DOUBLES IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.

DOUBLES
ALL PLAYERS MUST sign-in for doubles in person even if you signed up on line. The doubles sign-in will be open during the mandatory check-in times. Friday February 15th from 2pm-6pm, or Saturday February 16th from 7am-12noon. If you need a partner, sig up and we will help to match you with another person who needs a partner. It is NOT the responsibility of the tournament to match a player with a doubles partner, but we will do our best to help match players. The doubles sign-in will close at 12noon 2/16/08. ALL DOUBLES MATHCES ARE AN 8 GAME PRO SET WITH A MATCH TIE-BREAKER AT 8-8.

SHERATON ONTARIO AIRPORT
The Sheraton Ontario Airport (429 N. Vineyard Ave. Ontario CA, 91764 (909) 937-8000) is one of our tournament hotels. To recieve special rate of $114.00 + tax please indicate that you are with the Claremont Club USTA national open. There are a limited # of rooms available. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Reservations must be made by February 4,2008 t insure the special rate. The rate includes a complimentary American breakfast buffet. The hotel is located approximately 15 minutes from the Claremont Club, and 5 minutes from Ontario airport.

HOTEL CLAREMONT
The Hotel Claremont ( 840 S. Indian Hill Blvd Claremont CA, 91711 909-621-4831) is one of our tournament hotels. When making reservations please indiciate that you are with the Claremont Club USTA national open to receive the special room rate of $74.00 + tax. You must make your reseervations by February 4, 2008 to insure discounted price. Price includes a complimentary continental breakfast, free T1 wireless internet, and shutttle service to the Claremont is available. There are also lighted practice courts available at the hotel. the hotel is approximately 5 minutes from the Claremont Club and 15 minutes from Ontario airport.

SITES
The main tournament site is The Claremont Club designated as TCC on the draw. The alternate sites are all with-in a 5 minute drive from the Claremont Club. They are as follow. The Upland Tennis Club 1525 W 15th St. Upland CA, 91786, designated as UTC on the draws. The Claremont- Mudd -Scripps tennis facility 500 E 9th St. Claremont CA, 91750, designated as CMS on the draw sheets, and Pomona Pitzer College tennis courts 6th And College Way, Claremont, CA 91711 designated as PPC on the draw.

REFUNDS
ONLY PLAYERS WHO WITHDRAW AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT ARE ENTITLED TO A REFUND. NO EXCEPTIONS

AIRPORTS
Ontario International Airport is lacated approximately 10 miles form the Claremont Club. Orange County John Wayne airport is located approximately 40 miles form the Claremont Club. and LAX is located approximately 50 miles from the Claremont Club.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, January 24, 2008 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
