FNMC National City Gift Exchange
For the second year in a row we are doing a gift exchange program for first round matches. Everyone will need to bring a small gift from their home town. For example, I am from Maryland so I would probably give my opponent something with a crab since we are famous for our great crabs. We will have all the kids exchange gifts with their first round opponent. All gifts should be small and under $10. We will present an award for the most creative gift on the first day.

Tournament Site
This year I am happy to announce that the FNMC National City May National Open will be held at one site. We will be using 8 outdoor decoturf II courts and also 8 indoor decoturf II courts for the first weekend. The sides of our indoor facility have the ability to open up and since its the same decoturf surface as the outdoor courts it will play the same as outdoor. (Just without the sun).
Day 1: Boys will play outside and the girls will play inside
Day 2: Girls will play outside and the boys will play inside
In the case of rain, all matches will move to the eight indoor courts .

Tournament Hotel
It is to my understanding that the Tournament Hotel, the Holiday Inn (301.982.7000), has sold out. The tournament committee is working very hard to extend the room block however most likely we will have to add another hotel. As soon as rooms become available we will be in touch. If you have any questions please feel free to email me: djbutler@thetccp.com
