Everything is set for the same time tomarrow, Tuesday, May 23rd. (example.- If your match was set for today, May 22nd at 9:00 a.m., it will be set for May 23rd at 9:00a.m.) Same goes for doubles matches. The dates for the matches will be changed on the draw by tonight.

Tournament Hotel
The Upland Club offers special room rates at the Country Side Suites by Ayres Ontario Airport and the Ayres Hotel and Suites Ontario Convention Center. Both located just off of the 10 freeway by the Ontario International Airport. There will be a block of rooms held at the hotels for tourny players until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Both offer a full hot American breakfast. You can make reservations by calling 800-248-4661. Make sure to mention that you are a player in the Upland National Tennis Tournament. The Ayres Hotel and Suites Ontario Convention Center is located at 1945 E. Holt Blvd., Ontario, Ca. They offer a special rate of $99.00 for single/double occupancy Friday and Saturday. $109.00 for single/double occupancy Sunday thru Thursday. An additional $10.00 for each additional adult, 12 and under, complimentary. The Country Side Suites by Ayres Ontario Airport is located at 204 N. Vineyard Ave., Ontario, Ca. They offer a special rate of $89.00 for single/double occupancy Friday and Saturday. $99.00 single/double occupancy Sunday thru Thursday. Also, an additional $10.00 per additional adult, 12 and under complimentary.

USTA and Medical Release Forms (NO FORM, NO PLAY)
The USTA and Medical Release Forms are required for play in the National Open. You can find this form at the end of your confirmation e-mail that you should have received from the Linkteam regarding your acceptance into the tournament.
Please print and fill out the necessary fields and bring with you to the tournament. Be prepared to turn in the form at check-in for your first round match.
If you do not fill out and sign the form, you will not be able to play.

Draw Posting
The tournament draws will be posted by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th. No matches before 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Optional Player Meeting on Saturday, May 20th at 8:30 a.m. Information about tournament, times, format, court rules, and dress code. Thank You, Steve.

Players Lunch and Snacks
Lunch will be provided for all players on Saturday and Sunday. Parents and other kids will be an additional $5.00 each.
Saturday and Sunday mornings there will be strawberries, bananas, and apples for players.
Bottled water will be provided throughout the tournament, complements of Sparkletts water.

Hit for Prizes
There will be a hit for prizes for all players on Sunday, May 21st, at noon. There will be prizes from Adidas, Yonex, Gamma, K-Swiss, and Fischer. This is one of the few nationals that has this event. So don't miss out on the fun!

Pro Shop
We have a huge Pro Shop with a large variety of clothes, shoes, racquets, and accessories. Players will receive a 15% discount on all regular priced items. No discount on restringing, sale items, or accessories.
We offer same-day re-stringing. Stringing while you wait, 20 minutes or less. A large variety of strings available. Adult sized Girls National 12's T-shirts will be available for purchase for Moms in the pro shop for $10.00 each.

Format/Doubles
The format for singles is 2 tiebreak sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a third set. The doubles will be a 8 game pro set. Sign-ups for doubles start now. There will be an open doubles sign-up sheet on Saturday morning. It will be open until Saturday, May 20th at 4:00 p.m. Please e-mail Steve if you know your partner a.s.a.p. Doubles will start after the Hit For Prizes on Sunday afternoon.

Interested in Warm-ups?/Warm-up Court Reservations?
Contact Steve via e-mail for more information if you are interested in hitting with a pro. Charges vary. Limited number of warm-up courts available. Courts are reserved in 30 minute increments. Call Upland Tennis Club at 909-985-2725 for reservations.

No refunds for pulling out of the tourney 7 days prior to the tourney start date.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 27, 2006 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
