'NO QUESTIONS ASKED but please return the Scoville Jenkins Video CD that was "accidentally" removed from the HIGH-TECH TENNIS table during the afternoon of Friday, November 24' notice? Of course we can burn another sample copy...but I'm sure you'd agree that that is beside the point. If nothing else, let's just convey that we felt as though we were friendly to everyone and we didn't appreciate a piece of our property being stolen. Please send it to Newman Tennis Center, 3103 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta,GA 30909 and we will return it to HIGH-TECH TENNIS for you.

First Match Times / ALTERNATES
The Draws will be updated on Monday and the First Match times will change for the girls 12s because there have been several withdraws. I am sorry to say that the following players on the alternate list have a national ranking higher than the lowest seed and can not be put in the draw, as per USTA regulations: Alex Fennell and Sunay Bhat

Warm-up sessions
We will be offering group warm-up on Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. We will also be offering individual warm-ups as well. For details please contact David Robinson at 706-495-7353.

Early Check in/Manditory Player Meeting/Play Starts
Early Check in will be from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, at Newman Tennis Center. We will have a manditory player meeting at 7pm Wednesday Nov. 22 at Newman Tennis Center. Singles play will start at 9 am Thursday morning. All matches are scheduled for Newman Tennis Center. Please use the hotels listed, as they support tennis in Augusta.

Tournament Dinner
We will have a Thanksgiving Dinner for players and parents and or coaches on Thursday. Each player will be given two tickets. Additional tickets may be purchased for $12. Menu will be: Turkey, Ham, vegetables, dressing, beverage, and dessert. Dinning will be done in shifts and will be explained at the player meeting.

Change in Doubles and Doubles sign up
Doubles will start on FRIDAY and Doubles sign up will end at 5 pm on Thursday. If you signed up on the internet you will need to sign up again.

Withdrawing from tournament
If you need to withdraw before entries close, you must do it online. Make sure you keep your confirmation number. Withdraws after entries close must be sent in writing by e-mail to rhatfield@augustaga.gov . Players withdrawing within 7 days of the tournament start will not be refunded the entry fee.

Dress Code
The Tournament committee has set A dress code in this Tournament The Rules to which all participants are expected to adhere. These Rules are based on our community standards and all participants must observe, all rules, at all of the sites used during the tournament. Good manners on and off the court will be required of all participants, coaches and family at all times.
Proper tennis attire should be worn. For females, proper attire does not include, roll down waist bands on skirts or shorts, or exposure of skin between tops and skirts or shorts. For males proper attire does not include tank tops or sleeveless shirts, or shorts worn below the waist. Shirts must be worn at all times. Please respect our standards and adhere to our rules. Failure to do so will result in the player being required to change prior to the match. This delay may result in penalties (PPS) being assessed .

Schedule of Play and Consolation Matches
All singles draws will play two main draw rounds and one consolation round. On Thursday: We will be playing all of the boys consolaton and half of the girls consolation at Petersburg Racquet Club. You will receive directions and a map when you check in for the tournament.

This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 26, 2006 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
