SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
Each year, the USTA National Girls 12 Hardcourt Championship awards to a select player, the prestigious and coveted Sportsmanship Award. The selected girl has been chosen by her fellow players, the officials and the tournament staff, as the player who best exemplifies those qualities of good sportsmanship, on and off the court, friendliness, and integrity. Practice Courts
All practice courts will be first come first serve. If players are waiting please limit warmup to 30 minutes. There will be 3 outdoor and 4 indoor courts at the Hilary Boone Tennis Complex, 10 outdoor courts at Shillito Park and 4outdoor courts at Ecton Park. Directions to Shillito and Ecton Parks will be in the player packet.

Match Times
First match times will be given at check-in, Sunday, August 7th. Match play will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday, August 8th. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled match time. Draws will be posted to the internet on Sunday, Aug 8th by 10:00 AM.
Doubles match times will be available Monday morning, August 8th.

Shuttle Service
Shuttle will run from host hotel to playing site during tournament. Shuttle Service is included in your packet.

On Site Alternates
If you are not admitted prior to check-in on Sunday, you may be an on-site alternate for singles on Monday, August 8th. On-site alternates should check-in at the main tournament desk prior to play on Monday, August 8th, no later than 7:30 AM. Alternates are welcome to check-in on Sunday and be part of all of the activities.

PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is available across Cooper Drive-Green and Red Lots. Take right on University Drive, entrance on left. Also available, Lot R – Left onto Sports Center Drive off Cooper Drive, parking lot before 4 way stop on right. Campus Police will ticket any unauthorized parking (believe it).

This tournament is a Sectional Endorsed Tournament and is restricted to those players who have met their Sectional requirements. Entry is available only through tennislink on the USTA website. This event is restricted to the following Jr. players: U.S. Citizens; Permanent Resident Aliens; Diplomats, Refugees/Asylees; CTA. Refer to USTA Regulation III.A.2a.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 14, 2005 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
