On Site Alternates
If you want to show up as an on site alternate, you must come to the Lakewood Tennis Center on Thursday Feb 17th, by 7:30am for boys and 9:00am for Girls. Sign in and we will take players by order of the national standing list (Players who are already on the alternate list have priority over players who are not.)

Doubles
All players wanting to play doubles will have to sign up at the tournament desk before 5PM of the first day of play. Even if you signed up for doubles online, you still have to sign up again at the tournament desk.

Radisson Hotel
The Radisson Hotel Whittier is one of the hotels offering a special rate of $59.00 plus tax to tournament participants, families, and friends. The Radisson is about a 25 minute drive from Lakewood Tennis Center. But the price can't be beat. (Very nice hotel) The Radisson is located within walking distance of several shops and restaurants and is a full service hotel including onsite restaurant, pool, and fitness room. Long Beach Airport is 1.9 Miles from courts, Los Angeles Airport is 22.0 Miles & Orange County (John Wayne) is 23.6 Miles. If you can get a flight into Long Beach Airport that would be the best.

Parking Permit at LBCC
Players at Long Beach City College must purchase a parking permit or they will get a ticket. When you arrive at LBCC, follow the signs that say parking permit. $1.00 per day.

Players are required to check in 1/2 hour before the start of
their first round match

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, January 27, 2005 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
