ON-SITE DOUBLES ENTRY

PAPER ENTRY ONLY -- On-site doubles entries will be accepted for the junior events until NOON on Monday, July 25 and the adult divisions until NOON on Thursday, July 28.

TOURNAMENT BANQUET: Friday, July 29

The Greater Stamford Tennis Association will host the tournament player banquet on Friday, July 29 at the Holiday Inn Select Stamford. Cocktail hour will be from 7-8. The buffet dinner and silent auction will take place from 8-10 p.m. Tickets are $15 for tournament players, GSTA members and guest in advance and $20 at the door.

CATEGORY II STATUS

The 79th Annual National Public Parks Tennis Championships is a Category II event in the adult/senior divisions. It is the only Category II tournament in the New England section this year. The junior events are sanctioned by USA Tennis New England as a Level 7 event. more info

Notes

The 79th National Public Parks Tennis Championships comes to the Northeast for the first time in the tournament's history. Parent-Child Doubles division is a mixed category (Father-Daughter, Mother-Son, Mother-Daughter). The WHEELCHAIR division will include an UP-DOWN doubles event. (Registration will be by paper entry and taken on site).

Player Selection Type

No Selection Process. All registered players will be selected.

Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, July 19, 2005 6:00:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
