Tournament Hotels
We have will be using two hotels as our designated tournament hotels, The Century House and the Hampton Inn and Suites. At The Century House, we have a special rate of $89/night for the tournament. Amenities include a full buffet breakfast, high speed internet, and a 24-hour exercise room. To book a room, please call them at (518) 785-0931 and tell them you're with the USTA tournament. The Century House is located a quarter of a mile up the road from the club, on New Loudon Rd (a.k.a. Route 9).
The special rate for the Hampton Inn & Suites is also $89/night. Amenities include a hot breakfast buffet, wireless and high speed internet access, and an indoor pool and fitness facility. To book a room, please call (518) 782-7500 and tell them you're with the USTA National Open Tournament. To get to this hotel, take the Northway (I- 87) north to exit 6. take a left onto Rt. 7 West and travel for 3 miles. take a left at the light onto British merican Blvd., the hotel is on the left (45 British American Blvd).

Player Meeting & Start Times
We will be holding our player meeting on Wednesday, November 23 at 7 PM at The Century House. While this is not a mandatory meeting, it is strongly recommended. We will also be inviting college coaches, who will give you information on their colleges as well as answering questions about college tennis in general. University of Akron head coach Tony Fox will be giving a brief presentation on what players can expect when entering the NCAA. Play will start Thursday morning, and all players can anticipate playing their first round match at some point that day. The draw will be posted on November 17.

Directions
From the New York State Thruway:
Take Exit 24. Follow the signs for Albany Airport (Route 87 North). Take Rt 87 to Exit 7. Bear right on the ramp. Stay in the right lane until you reach a traffic light (Route 9). Take a right at the light onto Rt. 9 North. Tri-City Fitness is on the left just past the first traffic light, directly behind the Acura dealership.

Practice Courts
You can reserve practice courts at any time, the earlier the better. As of Thursday morning, due to court constraints, we are limiting practice time to half an hour. There is no limit for practice courts on Wednesday. The cost will be $20/half hour. If you would like a hitting pro, we will do our best to accomodate you. The cost for that will be $30/half hour.

Massage Therapy
As a courtesy to our players, we will have a masseuse at the club from 12-4 on Friday and Saturday. When you arrive at the club, you'll be able to book massage time at a cost of $10 per 10 minutes. This will be offered to parents and coaches as well as players.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 27, 2005 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
