DRAW FORMAT & DOUBLES SIGN-IN
The SINGLES event is a “Compass Draw,” which means ALL PLAYERS will play at least four singles matches (one each day from April 9-12), regardless of whether they win or lose. Players who play on April 13th are: all players who win on April 12th and all players who lose in the east draw on April 12th. The finals of the singles and doubles draws will be held on April 15th.....All singles alternates (including doubles endorsed players) may call the tournament office for updates beginning March 17th...The DOUBLES tournament is single elimination (all players MUST re-register at the Player’s Registration on April 8th) and begins on April 9th.
The SINGLES draw & starting times will be NOT be posted before Thursday, April 6th.

SAT., April 8th at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boca Raton Town Center (Player Hotel): MANDATORY Player’s Registration & Doubles Sign-In (between 3-5pm), Official Tournament Picture (4pm), MANDATORY Player’s Meeting (5pm)... TUES., April 11th: (7:30pm) PLAYER'S PARTY (hosted by Mario's of Boca & held at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boca Raton Town Center), free for players, $5 per adult, $5 per sibling/child (benefiting National Jr Tennis Leagues). SITES
GIRLS' MAIN SITE : Delray Beach Tennis Center (DBTC) (561-243-7360) (201 W. Atlantic Ave.) From I-95 Exit Atlantic Ave., head east, Tennis Center will be approx. 3/4 mile on left. GIRLS' ALTERNATE SITE: Delray Swim & Tennis Club (DSTC) (561-243-7058) (2350 Jaeger Dr.) I-95 to Linton Blvd, head east 3/4 mile, turn right on SW 10th Ave, go to stop sign & take a left (Lindell), go 1 full block to next corner, go left on Dotterel, go 1 block to Jaeger Drive, make left. Office trailer is on left, & tennis courts are ahead. IMPORTANT: Our agreement with the tennis facility is that we are not allowed to practice/warm-up before 8:30am on Sunday (April 9) and 7:30am each day thereafter.

CAMPS, LESSONS & PRACTICE COURTS
Saturday, April 8th: Pre-tournament camp from noon - 2pm, $35pp. (Limited availability, call 561-243-7360)... All practice locations & times from April 9 through the event will be given at Player Registration... Call the MAIN SITE (in charge of Alt. site) for hitting/private lessons & for practice courts BEFORE April 9th. Beginning April 9th, courts are 1st-come, 1st-serve.

Replacing of Player Before Draw is Made: The tournament committee shall replace a player who was accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next player on the Section's endorsement list. The tournament committee shall replace a player who was NOT accepted as part of a Section's quota with the next highest remaining alternate...
Replacing of Player After Draw is Made, but Before the Completion of the 1st Round: The tournament committee shall replace a player after the draw is made, but before the completion of the 1st round with the next highet remaining alternate...
No Replacement of Players is Made After the Completion of the 1st Round: No players are replaced in the draw after the completion of the 1st round. For example, a player who wins their 1st round, but cannot play their 2nd round due to injury, is NOT replaced with an alternate.

Players are selected from a designated Section or District ranking list.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, March 16, 2006 12 Noon Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
