We cannot take credit cards after the initial selection process. YOU HAVE TO OVERNIGHT YOUR FEE - THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS. It is not about the money, it is about your intent to participate in the tournament. We would hate for someone not to play because you changed your mind at the last minute and another person did not have time to make travel arrangements. Participants are more dedicated if the parents have money invested.

WITHDRAWALS
After entries close, players are instructed to immediately contact us if you need to withdraw. Bona Fide reasons for a withdrawal are illness, injury and personal emergency. All withdrawals for reasons other than illness, injury, and personal emergency are actually defaults and Code of Conduct Reports could be completed for each defaulting player even though an alternate will take that defaulting player's place in the draw.
All withdrawals, both entries and alternates, need to be handled by email or fax. You can withdraw by email at novak49@comcast.net or fax to 251/345-1863. Please, no phone calls to withdraw. If you withdrew before the deadline, you will receive a refund after the tournmant has finished. Time just does not permit me to get them out any sooner. Thank you for your understanding.

DOUBLES
PLEASE CHECK THE DOUBLES COMPETITORS LIST FOR YOUR NAME
If you are supposed to be on it and your name is not there, email me - novak49@comcast.net
If you are not supposed to be on it and your name is there, email me - novak49@comcast.net
If you are supposed to be paired with someone inparticular, email me - novak49@comcast.net
Remember, that the Doubles Evenet is just as important as the Singles Event. Meaning, if you do not show up for your match, you will be penalized. An excuses like "I did not know my Mom signed me up for Doubles" is not acceptable - LOOK AT THE COMPETIORS LIST, PLEASE.
Last opportunity to sign up for doubles will be at the Mandatory Check-In. Please note that you are responsible for entering or withdrawing from doubles as well as finding a partner. If you do not have a partner by 11/23 at 9:30 pm, we will do our best to assign you one. However, if there is an odd number of entries, there are no guarantees. Any alternates that were selected to play singles, will have to notify me if you want to play doubles.

ALTERNATES
An ORDERED ALTERNATES REPORT is posted above. This is the order Alternates will be contacted for any open spots.

MANDATORY CHECK-IN
Mandatory means just that. We are staying until 9:30 pm for your convenience. We feel strongly that you should be able to make it by that time, for no other reason than your children need proper rest. You may not get the shirt size you prefer because they are given on a first come, first serve.
For those of you that "just can't make it by that time" need to do the following:
1. Make sure your entry fee has been paid - check the Tournament Entry Fee Report
2. Please fax in your Medical Release Waiver with your cell phone numbers & hotel info to 251/345-1863
3. Show up 30 minutes before your match time at the Mobile Tennis Center. Please be patient with us when checking in, we will be focused on getting matches on and off the court. Checking in people at this time will be a detriment to the tournament.
Thank you for your cooperation.

FACILITY RULES
The tournament site(s) use conduct rules above and beyond those enforced by the USTA. These sites include the Mobile Tennis Center, Medal of Honor Park (a.k.a. Cottage Hill Tennis Center), and University of South Alabama - Bruce Lubel Tennis Courts.
Players participating in tournaments at the facilities identified are required to abide by these facility rules of behavior on and off of the court. These rules also apply to parents, coaches, siblings, and other guests of the players.
The list below indicates the Facility Behavior Rules:
- No use of the word "suck" or any form of the word spoken or spelled.
- No use of expressions of frustrations with references to deities (i.e. "Oh My God", "Jesus", "Jesus Christ", "Christ", "God") either spoken or spelled.
- No use of "freaking", "frigging", or "fricking" or variations of such words either spoken or spelled.
- No Smoking anywhere on the premises. Premises includes parking lots, bathrooms, and anywhere within 30 feet of a tennis court.
Verbal rules apply to any language. We have officials on sight that are fluent in many languages.
Anyone found in violation of these rules may be subject to a Code Violation and receive suspension points.
|
THE CODE
