PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING UP - IMPORTANT NOTES
THIS IS AN INDOOR EVENT AND PER CLUB POLICY ONLY ONE FAMILY MEMBER IS ALLOWED TO BE INSIDE WHEN YOUR PLAYER IS PLAYING. *Draws are limited to 8 players. If there are enough court hours we will try to accommodate more. For L7, Players will be selected based on MAS standings from the bottom up - i.e. the lowest 8 ranked or unranked players will be accepted. We can't accommodate any specific requests. Schedules and time will be determined after the registration deadline.
*Match format will be one set to 6 games, no ad scoring, 7pt tiebreak at 6-6.
*Players will be scheduled for at least two matches. Consolation might not be played to completion.
*This tournament is INDOORS. We will start as early as 8 AM and matches may start as late as 8 PM for 12/14 and 9:30PM for 16/18. Keep in mind that not everyone can play mid day - Please be available and prepare to play anytime in the day. We can’t accommodate any specific time requests.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
1. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDE A SAFE, HEALTHY AND FUN EXPERIENCE FOR OUR PLAYERS. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A CODE OF CONDUCT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION (Click on more info to view the Online Code of Conduct)
2 PRIOR TO ARRIVING TO THE MATCH, PARENTS OR GUARDIANS MUST TAKE THE PLAYER’S TEMPERATURE. PLEASE KEEP YOUR PLAYER HOME IF HE/ SHE HAS A TEMPERATURE OF 100.4 OR ABOVE, HAS TAKEN MEDICATION TO LOWER THEIR TEMPERATURE IN THE LAST 12 HOURS, HAS A COUGH, SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR SOMEONE IN THEIR HOUSE HAS HAD COVID 19 IN THE LAST 14 DAYS.
3. PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND PLAYERS SHOULD WEAR MASKS OR FACE COVER WHILE INSIDE THE FACILITY. PLAYERS CAN REMOVE THEIR MASK ONCE ENTER THE TENNIS COURT. FACE MASKS OR FACE COVER MUST COVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH. WHEN THE PLAYERS CHECKS IN, WE WILL TAKE THEIR TEMPERATURE. IF THEY HAVE TEMPERATURE OF 100.4 OR HIGHER, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COME IN. ONLY ONE PARENT OR GUARDIAN IS ALLOWED INSIDE WITH THE PLAYER. PARENT/GUARDIAN WILL BE CHECKED FOR TEMPERATURE WHEN COMING IN THE FACILITY.
4. CHECK-IN: TOURNAMENT DESK WILL BE OUTSIDE FOR PLAYERS TO CHECK IN. PARENTS AND PLAYERS MUST WAIT OUTSIDE OR IN THE CAR FOR THE MATCHES. ONLY PARENTS AND PLAYING PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO BE INSIDE THE FACILITY.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY OF THE CONDITIONS SPECIFIED ABOVE PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER YOUR CHILD TO THIS TOURNAMENT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. THANK YOU!!!

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY:
Once player selections have been made, there will be no credits or refunds if a player is unable to compete for any reason. If there is a rainout and an event is not played at all, a credit may be issued for a future Strike/Zone tournaments (to be chosen by player) within a certain time frame.

If there's inclement weather, please be sure to check the tournament homepage before coming to your match. Matches may be delayed by one or more hours, or canceled for the day. MAS Regulations and Ranking Points This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

MAS L7, L6 & L5 EVENT REFUNDS
Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organization shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

If draw size is limited selection shall be made from the bottom up. Level 7 events are one day events and players will play up to a maximum of 4 matches.

Participants are reminded that it is their responsibility to be aware of and follow any local or state guidelines in addition to following all MAS and event safety requirements.
Due to ongoing challenges associated with Covid 19 every tournament is being reviewed to verify that all recommended safety protocols can be met. There may be situations where a previously posted event may need to modify draw sizes, formats, or divisions to ensure safety for all participants. In the event of a change notification of such changes shall be posted on the registration page for the event impacted and all registrants will be notified by email. Please verify that you are providing up to date contact information when registering so that you receive all updates.

A player who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the time between player selection and the first scheduled match, may request a refund or credit up to 50% of the entry fee not including Tennislink Fee. The request must be in writing, at least 12 hours in advance of the first scheduled match and must include specific reference to a confirmed exposure or diagnosis.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Monday, December 21, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
