Players will play 2 of 3 full sets, no ad scoring with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu of the third set.

Tournament Protocol
Greetings Players and Parents, Congratulations on your selection to play in The All Court Tennis Academy Tournament at Coppermine this weekend. Play begins Saturday Dec. 26th. We are all excited to see you on the courts! As we approach the upcoming tournament, please be reminded that all players and parents are responsible for following all local and state guidelines and asked to review and abide by the USTA. Included in these guidelines are the requirements that participants must have: ? No signs or symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days. ? No close sustained contact with anyone who is sick within 14 days of the event. ? Complete a COVID-19 self-check screening of health each day of participation, as noted in the requirements. If you answer YES to any of the screening questions, you must stay home and not participate. It is the expectation that all players and parents adhere to all safety recommendations to ensure that this event and all future events continue to be an option for our Mid-Atlantic players.
If anything has changed with your child’s availability to play this weekend, please let me know as soon as possible. In addition to the safety protocols outlined by USTA Mid Atlantic, please note our additional safety protocols for our facility/event here: No parents or spectators are allowed in the building. Each player will receive a temperature check and will sign a waiver. Mask must be worn at all times during play.
IMPORTANT: Parents will be sent Waivers to sign prior to each USTA event. A waiver must be signed for each tournament. This is part of the process to safely return to play in the Section. Tournament Dates
The tournament will start on the 26th and should only last two or three days. Typically the tournament has a full back draw but with the shortened format of a two match guarantee, the tournament will not go to the 31st.

Mask Mandate
In accordance with the Maryland Health Department new order all players will have to wear a mask during play in the tournament.

Refund Policy
Once the draws have been made there will be no refunds. If the tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather, then every registered participant will receive a credit to play in another tournament hosted by All Court Tennis Academy.

MAS EVENT REFUNDS Member organizations are not required to refund players for tournaments affected by inclement weather. Per MAS regulations, in the event of inclement weather a tournament may utilize a shortened format in order to play the tournament to completion. If the tournament cannot be played, it is the MAS recommendation that players be offered a credit to a future tournament hosted by the same organization. However, this is only a recommendation and not a policy. Each member organizations shall post their refund policy on the tournament homepage.

MAS Regulations and Ranking Points
This tournament operates in accordance with the rules and guidelines listed in USTA Mid-Atlantic Regulations and USTA Friend at Court. By registering for this event, players and parents are agreeing to be familiar with and abide by all aspects of the MAS Regulations to include meeting sportsmanship expectations, all aspects of fair play, and respecting the game of tennis.

Participants are reminded that it is their responsibility to be aware of and follow any local or state guidelines in addition to following all MAS and event safety requirements.
Due to ongoing challenges associated with Covid 19 every tournament is being reviewed to verify that all recommended safety protocols can be met. There may be situations where a previously posted event may need to modify draw sizes, formats, or divisions to ensure safety for all participants. In the event of a change notification of such changes shall be posted on the registration page for the event impacted and all registrants will be notified by email. Please verify that you are providing up to date contact information when registering so that you receive all updates.

A player who has been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 in the time between player selection and the first scheduled match, may request a refund or credit up to 50% of the entry fee not including Tennislink Fee. The request must be in writing, at least 12 hours in advance of the first scheduled match and must include specific reference to a confirmed exposure or diagnosis.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, December 20, 2020 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
