Rebsamen Tennis Center (Reb) Burns Park Tennis Center (BP) In regards to the days and times on the draw, we have the schedule set through Monday. Tuesday times will be up by Thursday night. Two rounds of main draw on Saturday, one round of main on Sunday, two rounds of main on Monday and Tuesday. There will be one round of conso for the boys on Saturday. Starting Sunday, there will be two rounds of conso per day. There are several byes, especially in the girls draw, so you may only have one match in conso on Sunday for both draws depending where you are on the draw. SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MASKS AT TOURNAMENTS
While at tournaments, please maintain a distance of 6 ft between yourself and people who don’t live in your household. Also, everyone should wear a mask at tournaments when around people who don’t live in your household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

doubles as all age divisions of the 2020 Southern Closed Championships will now
not offer doubles in order to follow USTA &
Southern guidelines for player safety.

EVENTS AND SIZE OF DRAW
Singles: Boys' and Girls' singles 128 draw with Feed-in championship through round of 16 and playoff matches for 3/4 places. Play in the FIC is mandatory. Semifinal losers in the main draw are required to play the 3/4 playoff match. Reminder that there will be no doubles this year. NO INFORMATION ABOUT THE DRAW WILL BE GIVEN BY PHONE.

STANDING POINTS
Please note that the 2020 Southern Closed Championships
will now be counted for National Level 4 points and 2021 Level 4 shadow
ranking. Players will still receive Southern Level 1 points.

PRACTICE COURTS
REBSAMEN TENNIS CENTER - Saturday and Sunday Courts 3 and 4 will be open at all times for warm-up. Please limit warm-up to 30 minutes and be willing to share the court. Any academies using the practice courts can only use one at a time. These will always be first come, first serve. All courts before and after play each day are available for warm-up as well.
BURNS PARK TENNIS CENTER - Saturday through Tuesday Courts 4, 5, and 6 will be dedicated for warm-up at all times. Please limit warm-up to 30 minutes and be willing to share the court.

OTHER CITY FACILITIES There are several city parks that have two courts in which to warm up. Look for Allsop Park, Reservoir Park, and Merriwhether Park on your Maps on your phone for location. These are first come, first serve as well.

SOME FACILITY PROTOCOLS
There will be more information provided on another message but here is some pertinent information regarding some Covid protocols: 1)You will be responsible for bringing your own water and ice. The ice machine will not be available and there will not be water on the courts. There will be water and gatorade available for purchase in the pro shop at Burns Park AND there are vending machines in the Rebsamen pro shop.2)All players must max at 2 people with them at any time while at the facility. 3)All players must arrive at the facility no more than 15 minutes before their match THEN leave no more than 15 minutes after their match is completed. 4)All players please remember to grab ALL of their personal items off the court before leaving. 5)There will be scorecards on all courts, BUT, each player should be responsible for touching their own side of the scorecard. 6)In case of a weather delay during play, all players must go to their cars and text their current score to the tournament referee number.

IF YOU NEED AN INDIVIDUAL WARM-UP, PLEASE CALL RAUL BERMUDEZ AT 501-766-1119. THE BACK UP NUMBER IS 501-247-9792. HE WILL GET YOU SIGNED UP WITH EITHER HIMSELF OR ONE OF HIS ASSISTANTS. INDIVIDUAL WARM-UP COST IS $25 PER HALF HOUR. RAUL WILL LET YOU KNOW WHERE THE WARM-UP WILL BE. IT WILL DEPEND ON YOUR REQUESTED TIME.

ALL STRINGING WILL BE DONE AT REBSAMEN TENNIS CENTER. WE WILL HAVE AT LEAST 2 STRINGERS AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES AT REBSAMEN FROM FRIDAY THROUGH MOST OF THE WEEK. THE REBSAMEN PHONE NUMBER IS 501-664-0736, THE AFTER HOURS STRINGER NUMBER IS 501-351-4120. ALL STRINGING PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE THROUGH CASH, CHECK, OR VENMO. IF YOU USE VENMO, WE REQUEST THAT PAYMENT IS MADE WHEN YOUR RACQUET IS DROPPED OFF. THANK YOU!

ALTERNATES
All applicants NOT admitted to the main draw shall be listed in order, to be moved into the main draw if/when spaces become available. * The order will be based on Southern Standings.
* To find out the order go to the Alternates lists in the Reports Section at the top of the Important Info page. Alternate lists will be posted as soon as possible and updated often thereafter.
* If you are an alternate from your state and are NOT admitted on June 5 or thereafter, you may do any or all of the following: 1) Stand by as an on-site alternate on Saturday, June 8 for all first round matches 2) Stand by as an on-site alternate on Sunday, June 9 for the second round matches that involve players that received a bye in the first round *** If you are an alternate, please make sure the tournament has accurate contact information so that you may be contacted when needed.

3-Minute Coaching Break
In matches playing a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set there will be a 3-minute coaching break between the end of the second set and the match-deciding tiebreak. This 3-minute break is treated the same as the 2-minute set break between first and second sets, except that players may receive coaching on the court. Players may not leave the court. unless requesting a toilet break. The toilet break will be taken after the 3-minute coaching break. No coaching is allowed during the toilet break for either player.

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
*On-site alternates must arrive at the site where your division is being played prior to matches being played for which you want to be considered. *You must sign the ordered alternate sheet and remain at that site. *If a vacancy occurs, the highest ranked "signed-in" alternate will be admitted. * Once the on-site alternate is paged, he/she will have 4 minutes to report.
* If he/she takes longer than 4 minutes to report, he/she will be bypassed until a subsequent vacancy occurs.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES PROHIBITED ON COURT
Players may not use electronic devises on court that are designed for communication (cell phones, etc.) or data storage/display (pocket notebook, rolodex, word processor, etc.). Use of these devices will result in immediate code violation for unsportsmanlike conduct. (A device that is in the "ON" mode constitutes use.) Notes and printed materials brought on court for reference with a player are permitted.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
