PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY:
It is the Player's responsibility to locate your match SITE and TIME (located on the draws) and report directly to your sites' Tournament Desk 20 minutes prior to ALL match times. Have your Medical Release forms filled out and ready to be turned in upon first check in. Be prepared to play early if courts are available. Report the scores WITH your opponent. WINNER should return the balls to the desk. Get your "next match time" directly from the tournament desk. In case of bad weather: Always check your match time on line prior to leaving home for your site, for any updates. Thank you

FPark (on the draw): 1401 Golf Course Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054 - From I-85, exit 22 Go LEFT, at the fourth light turn right on to E. Hudson Blvd. At the second light go right on to UNION ROAD. SPORTSMANSHIP EXPECTATIONS
In order to truly enjoy the
sport of tennis, it is essential to display good sportsmanship which includes
abiding by the rules, playing fair, and showing respect for your opponent. We
expect that ALL players who compete this weekend abide by guidelines set forth

both players and parents will be responsible for knowing these rules for

10's and Under Will be played on a 60 foot court with low compression orange balls. Racquets must be no larger than 25 inches. 10's Scoring For all North Carolina 10 and under, Level 1-5 tournament play, the required scoring format, for singles shall be the best of 2 short sets (first to 4 and win by 2), with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by two (2) at 4-4 in each set, and a set tiebreak (first to 7 and win by 2) for the third set. AD SCORING. In case of inclement weather, singles play shall consist of one regular six (6) game set with a set tiebreak (first to seven (7) and win by 2) at 6-6. AD SCORING

Draws are limited to 16 players and will be posted by 1:00 pm Wednesday

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Sunday, December 1, 2019 11:59:00 PM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
