MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND SELECTION PROCESS
Players may choose ONE of the following options, but NOT both: OPTION 1: ENTER any ONE (1) division of TWO (2) concurrent USTA National Level 3 Tournaments (this may be a different division in each tournament); OR OPTION 2: ENTER TWO (2) divisions of ONE (1) USTA National Level 3 tournament Players may PLAY in only ONE division of ONE tournament. Players who register for three (3) or more events will be given 5 suspension points and will only be selected into a maximum of two events.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PLAYERS WHO ARE ACCEPTED INTO ONE EVENT AT THE TIME OF SELECTION ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THE ALTERNATE LIST OF ANOTHER EVENT. WE URGE PLAYERS TO ONLY SIGN UP FOR EVENTS THEY WOULD PLAY IF ACCEPTED.

When there are open spots in a division, you will save both of us time if the Alternate List only shows those who still want to move to the main draw. You will receive an email and/or a phone call asking if you would like to play. Please be prepared to provide a credit card for the entry fee.

DRESS CODE POLICY
The SCTA Junior
Sectionals Tournament and all officials of this event would like to inform the
players of our expectations of proper attire while competing in this
tournament:
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression garments of any kind are to be worn
alone; midriff must be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts or
capris must be covered by additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may
be worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be
depicted on player attire.

If you are accepted into two different tournaments, you have until 5 pm EDT on Thursday, June 20 to withdraw from one of the events and receive a refund. Email mark@lasposascc.com with your name and USTA #. Texts or phone calls will not be accepted for withdrawals.

On Site Alternate Policy
If you would like to come sign up as an on site alternate, please
show up to any of the four sites on Saturday July 9, one half hour
before the start of the first round. We will take alternates in the
order of sign up on the alternate list.

Tournament selection process and multiple tournament entry information
Selection Process ? Selection: Players are accepted into a USTA National Level 3 Tournament using the most recently published National Standings List as of the date entries close. ? Alternates: Alternates are ordered using the same National Standings List used to select players into the tournament. Players with no National Standing are ordered after players with standing by random drawing. Late entries are placed on the bottom of the alternate list in the order received. Late entries received at the same time are ordered randomly.

Singles Seeding Criteria for USTA
National Level 2 Tournaments, USTA National Level 3 Tournaments, and Additional
USTA Junior National Tournaments
Seeding shall be done using the most recently published National Singles Seeding List of the division in the order in which players appear. • Players from the National Singles Seeding List of the division may be moved within major groups (1-4, 5-8, 9-16, 17- 32) due to direct wins if players are separated by fewer than 100 ranking points. • Players from the National Singles Seeding List of the division may be moved between major groups due to direct
wins if players are separated by fewer than 50 ranking points. • Players not yet considered for seeding who have ratings within the competitive range of those being considered for seeding may also be considered for seeding. Additionally, a player already under consideration for seeding may be seeded higher or lower if justified by the competitive range of the ratings.

Refund policy for this tournament
Entry Fee Refund: • Player is Not Accepted Into Tournament: If a player has previously paid an entry fee and is not accepted into the tournament, the player is entitled to a refund. Generally, in USTA National Junior Tournaments, no player is charged an entry fee until tournament selection is done and the acceptance list is published to the tournament website. The TennisLink processing fee paid in addition to the entry fee is not refundable. • Previously Authorized Entries into Concurrent Tournaments: If a player has previously received written authority to enter concurrent tournaments from each Tournament Committee, the player is entitled to a refund from the tournament(s) that will not be played. The TennisLink processing fee paid, in addition to the entry fee, is not refundable. • Other Withdrawals after the Entry Deadline: Players who withdraw after the entry deadline for any reason other than a previously authorized entry into concurrent tournaments are not entitled to a refund.

Tournament Ball
Tournament Ball will be the Wilson US Open ATP Extra Duty for all boys matches. Girls matches will use the Wilson US Open Regular Duty ball.

Tournament Format
14's Main draw singles matches will be best of 3 tiebreak sets.
12's Main draw singles matches will be of 3 tiebreaks sets with 10 point TB in lieu of the 3rd set.
All Consolation Singles matches will be best of 3 tiebreaks sets with a 10 point TB in lieu of the 3rd set.
All Doubles will be 8 game pro set with a tiebreak at 7 all.
All singles matches will be regular scoring.
All Doubles matches will be no-add scoring.
First round loser consolation draw will be for singles only.
3rd and 4th place playoff for main draw singles matches for those losing in the semifinals.

Concurrent Tournament Withdraw Deadline is Tuesday June 20th.
If you have asked for permission and are enrolled and selected in two tournaments you must withdraw from one of the tournaments by Tuesday, June 20th.

Most matches will be played at two of the most premier tennis
facilities in Ventura County. The Las Posas Country Club and
Spanish Hills Country Club.
All players will receive a Gift Bag and a Tournament T-shirt.
There will be a first match back draw consolation for all
competitors. Doubles will be offered for all age divisions.
Players Dinner will be held Saturday evening at Las Posas Country
Club from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. Dinner is complimentary to all players.
parents may purchase dinner for $10.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 13, 2019 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
