DRESS CODE POLICY
The SCTA Junior
Sectionals Tournament and all officials of this event would like to inform the
players of our expectations of proper attire while competing in this
tournament:
GIRLS: No sports bras or compression garments of any kind are to be worn
alone; midriff must be covered when arms are at rest, and spandex shorts or
capris must be covered by additional shorts or skirt.
BOYS: No cut off t-shirts, or cut off shorts. Sleeveless tennis shirts may
be worn. No reference to drugs, violence, alcohol, or foul language may be
depicted on player attire.

If you are accepted into two different tournaments, you have until 5 pm EDT on Tuesday, June 19 to withdraw from one of the events and receive a refund. Email mark@lasposascc.com with your name and USTA #. Texts or phone calls will not be accepted for withdrawals.

Practice sites
Courts will be available on a first come first serve basis at Las Posas (LPCC) and Spanish Hills(SPCC) on Friday from 3pm to 7pm. Courts will be available at Mission Oaks(MOP) on Friday all day and Saturday morning before 10am as available as well.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND SELECTION PROCESS
Players may choose ONE of the following options, but NOT both: OPTION 1: ENTER any ONE (1) division of TWO (2) concurrent USTA National Level 3 Tournaments (this may be a different division in each tournament); OR OPTION 2: ENTER TWO (2) divisions of ONE (1) USTA National Level 3 tournament Players may PLAY in only ONE division of ONE tournament. Players who register for three (3) or more events will be given 5 suspension points and will only be selected into a maximum of two events.
Please note that players selected for one tournament are INELIGIBLE to be on the alternate list of another event.

Singles Seeding Criteria for USTA
National Level 2 Tournaments, USTA National Level 3 Tournaments, and Additional
USTA Junior National Tournaments
Seeding
shall be done using the most recently published National Singles Seeding List
of the division in the order in which players appear.
·
Players
from the National Singles Seeding List of the division may be moved within
major groups (1-4, 5-8, 9-16, 17-32) due to direct wins if players are
separated by fewer than 100 ranking points.
·
Players
from the National Singles Seeding List of the division may be moved between
major groups due to direct wins if players are separated by fewer than 50
ranking points.
·
Players
not yet considered for seeding who have ratings within the competitive range of
those being considered for seeding, may also be considered for seeding.
Additionally a player already under consideration for seeding may be seeded
higher or lower if justified by the competitive range of the ratings.

Tournament Ball
Tournament Ball will be the Wilson US Open ATP Extra Duty for all boys matches. Girls matches will use the Wilson US Open Regular Duty ball.

Tournament Schedule
DAY 1: 1 Round Main Draw Singles Rd. 32 --1 Round Doubles Rd 16 --1 Round G12s Cons DAY 2: 2 Rounds Main Draw Singles Rd 16 & QF, --1 Round Consolation Singles R16, -- 1 Round Doubles QF DAY 3: 1 Round Main Draw Singles SF, --2 Rounds Consolation Singles QF, SF, --- 1 Round Doubles SF DAY 4: 1 Round Main Draw Singles F - 1 Round Consolation Singles F - 1 Round Doubles
All doubles will be played first in the morning.

Tournament Format
All Main draw Singles matches will be best of 3 tiebreak sets. (Due to heat the 12's singles main draw will be 10pt TB in Lier of 3rd Set) All Consolation Singles matches will be best of 3 tiebreaks sets with a 10 point TB in lieu of the 3rd set. All Doubles will be 8 game pro set with a tiebreak at 7 all. All singles matches will be regular scoring. All Doubles matches will be no-add scoring. First Round loser Consolation draw will be for singles only. 3rd and 4th place playoff for main draw singles matches.
There will be a 3rd/4th place match for those losing in the Semi Finals of the main draw of Singles and Doubles.

Concurrent Tournament Withdraw Deadline is Tuesday June 20th.
If you have asked for permission and are enrolled and selected in two tournaments you must withdraw from one of the tournaments by Tuesday, June 20th.

Matches will be played at two of the most premier tennis
facilities in Ventura County. The Las Posas Country Club and
Spanish Hills Country Club.
All players will receive a Gift Bag and a Tournament T-shirt.
There will be a first match back draw consolation for all
competitors. Doubles will be offered for all age divisions.
Players Dinner and Party will be held on Sunday evening at Las
Posas Country Club from 4:30pm to 7pm.
Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 14, 2018 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
