Singles draws will be posted Thursday morning Singles draws will be posted tomorrow
Singles draws will be posted Thursday morning early to make sure there are no last minute changes. At the present time, girls singles matches are scheduled on Saturday morning at 8 and 9:30AM and boys are starting with their doubles on Saturday morning. Boys will then play their singles matches early afternoon Saturday and girls will begin their doubles matches at that time. Still subject to change but this is a blueprint. Claudine

Earliest Match times
Matches will be starting early, 8AM on all days. Be prepared to play at 8AM although your particular match may be scheduled for later rounds.

Practice courts
Practice courts will be available to the players at no cost on Saturday starting at 7AM at the MAC. Additional practice courts are available at the following location. Outoor - Manchester Memporial School, Lincoln Street, Manchester - Brook Street Public Courts, Brook Street, Manchester - Gordon College, 17 Grapevine Road, Wenham (exit #17 off Route 128, 10 minutes from club) Indoor facilities - There are two indoor club in the North Shore that are wiling to let you reserve their indoor courts with no guest fees - please mention National Manchester Tournament when booking. Bass River Tennis Club,21 Tozer Road, Beverly, 978 927 0102 (Exit 20 - 20 minutes from the MAC) ($30 per hour) You may reserve courts up to 3 days in advance. Pay by credit card, non refundable. Court space is limited. Northeast Tennis Center, 123 River st, Middleton, MA 978 777 0880. They may have more availability but are futher away (about 35 minutes from the club) ($40.00 per 1 hour court rental, no guest fees) There are other outdoor facilities - If needed just contact me.

Please register for doubles prior to the deadline
If you are registering for the singles but not the doubles yet, and want to play doubles, please let me know by this coming Friday April 20th. . You have till May 1st to designate a partner and after May 1st I will simply pair up players at random.

Facilities, restaurants and stringing
The Manchester Athletic Club's restaurant, pro shop and stringing will all be open and available thru-out the tournament. Players will also receive a list of nearby restaurants, breakfast facilities, drug stores on registration day.

Selection for singles has been done- Doubles to be done later - All players selected for singles will be eligible for doubles
National has finished its selection for the singles. If you are accepted into the singles and are selected into another tournament, you have till Tuesday April 17th at 5pm EST to withdraw without penalty. Please let me know urgently if that is the case. All players selected for the singles are eligible to play doubles. Please let me know before the end of the week if they are NOT playing doubles. I will assume that everyone is playing doubles unless I hear otherwise. Please send me a email with your chosen partner. Players without partners will be paired together randomly. This will be done the first week in May

MULTIPLE ENTRIES AND SELECTION PROCESS
Players may choose ONE of the following options, but NOT both: OPTION 1: ENTER any ONE (1) division of TWO (2) concurrent USTA National Level 3 Tournaments (this may be a different division in each tournament); OR OPTION 2: ENTER TWO (2) divisions of ONE (1) USTA National Level 3 tournament Players may PLAY in only ONE division of ONE tournament. Players who register for three (3) or more events will be given 5 suspension points and will only be selected into a maximum of two events. Draw and Match format.
All singles draw will have a feed in consolation that feeds players through the round of 16. Singles. Singles 3rd and 4th playoff required. The quarterfinal losers will be fed into a separate draw to playoff for 5th and 6th place. Consolation is mandatory Match format for the singles main draw will be best out of three tiebreak sets (7point tiebreak at 6-6). Match format for the consolation round will be best out of 3 sets with a 10 point tiebreak for the third set. Doubles format will be 8 game pro set with a 7 point tiebreak at 8-8. Doubles will play off for 3rd and 4rth place Please sign up with a doubles partner by May 1st. If players sign up and have no doubles partner by May 2nd, the tournament director will pair players up randomly.

Alternates
IF a player is signed up and not selected they will be placed on the Alternate list according to their ranking. Highest ranked alternate on list first. If a player is listed as a Alternate and wishes to withdraw, please let tournament director know as soon as possible. Alternates will be called as soon as a player withdrawal occurs.

Manchester Athletic Club
The Manchester Athletic Club has 11 indoor courts. Due to the size of this tournament, players will be given a list of outdoor venues and or other area clubs to warm up.

All the hotels have release all rooms booked as a block but not

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 12, 2018 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
