SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS
Congratulations to Rahul Konakanchi of Plano, TX (USTA Texas Section) and to Liv Hovde of McKinney, TX (USTA Texas Section) for being selected to receive the Boys' and Girls' Sportsmanship awards for this tournament. Rahul and Liv displayed great attitudes on court toward their opponents, a positive focus on their own game, and outstanding behavior off court that included healthy interaction with other players and tournament staff. Rahul graciously stepped in to play doubles with a player who did not have a partner, waiting all day, just for the doubles. His father also volunteered to help with the tournament. Liv, the youngest player in the tournament, won second place in the Girls' Singles and DOUBLES PLACE, and kept her cool through some tough matches, showing outstanding maturity. Way to go, Rahul and Liv! (See ATC's Facebook page for photo of Liv. Photo of Rahul to follow.)

WEEKEND WEATHER
The weather forecast for this weekend may bring some challenges to our tournament. However, we have secured a limited number of indoor courts that, if substantial rain occurs, we should be able to complete most matches. Cost for the indoor courts will be absorbed by the tournament. Exact adjustments to the schedule cannot be made until weather actually occurs, but it may include adjusting formats and other steps. Regardless of rain, we know that everyone will have a great time in Arlington! Thanks, in advance, for your patience.
Weather delays, location changes, or any other issues related to the schedule will be posted on this website. This website should be your primary means of learning about weather related adjustments. Additionally, players may subscribe to receive email messages regarding delays. Opting in for the service may be done during the registration process (too late for this tournament) in the Event Communications area of the registration page, as well as on “My Tennis Page” after event registration. Communication is limited to 30 days after the close of the event and to only the players who have opted in.
|
SINGLES DRAWS AVAILABLE: SEE "DRAW" TAB

ALTERNATES
If a selected player withdraws, we will email AND call (if both are available) the alternates in order. As Alternates are placed, the ordered lists willbe updated. No updates, means no changes.
As time gets closer to the start of the tournament, the response time allowed will be shorter, out of necessity to move on to the next alternate to get the spots filled. Alternates may also register as On Site Alternates (see below) to fill last-minute withdrawals, or open spots in Doubles.

If you do not have a partner in mind, we can forward your name to other selected players, but we cannot give you their contact information.
