SELECTION/COMPETITORS/ALTERNATES/WITHDRAWALS
Players accepted into
the draw are listed under competitors once the national office has made
the selections. (This may take until Monday or Tuesday. You will know it has happend when you get an e-mail saying either that you were accepted or have been placed on the alternate list..) We will order the alternates within 48 hours of their
selections and will contact them if/when a spot become available for
them. Withdrawals must be via email with a reason listed. We may ask for
a doctor's note for withdrawals less than 48 hours in advance. Once
selections have been made there will be no refunds

Players may bring in small on court size coolers. No outside food may be brought in and eaten in the lobby's per state law.

Neither facility can be seen from the street.
Please give yourself plenty of time to get to your match. PLEASE do check-in 15 minutes before your match to hand in your
completed USTA Medical Release and get your shirt.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY/BALLS/START TIMES/DVD RECORDINGS/Complimentary Internet
Play
will start at 8am each day and start times will be posted above left under
"Future Match Info" once they are available . Day one we will start with doubles. The singles front draw
will play two rounds, the back one on the first day. Day two thru four both front and back draws of singles
will play two rounds. Singles front draw will play the
best 2 out of three full sets. Consolation matches will play a 10-Point
Match Tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will be an 8 game Pro Set
with a 7-Point Tiebreak at 8 games all. U.S. Open/Wilson Tennis Balls
will be used with new balls in the front draw in the event of split sets.
We will post the start times followed by W:=second match time if they
win (or) L:=second match time if they lose. These times are subject to
change based on withdrawals/defaults/long matches etc. but we hope this
will help you to plan your weekend. Please do not call the club for your
start times, our desk staff can not give out times. We will be
recording all matches at Dayton Center Courts/Dayton Sports Complex on DVD, the first person to ask for it will get it
unless both people ask before the match is over in which case we will
make a copy. Singles matches are $40.00, doubles matches will be $20.00,
with subsequent dvd's being discounted. Both sites broadcast complimentary
internet.

DRESS CODE
Proper Attire is required. The top and bottom of your
outfit must meet when your arms are at rest. No bare midriffs, spaghetti
straps, tank tops, alcohol or drug words, if it is objectionable you
will have to change before going on the court which could incur a point
penalty for the time violation.

Practice Courts
Players can reserve practice
courts, but please wait until First Match Start times are posted to book courts for Friday.
Practice courts must be paid over the phone by using a Visa or Master
Card there are no refunds.

PPS and Suspension points
The Point Penalty System will be enforced for lateness, use of a Deity
(God, Jesus, Christ, etc.), cussing, as well as abuse of racquet, ball,
and/or the facilities. Suspension points will be given for
unsportsmanlike conduct, which includes misconduct at the hotel, as well
as for no shows.

Things to know
Two chairs or a bench are on each court. Check-in is
15 minutes before each match except for 8am matches who may check in 5
minutes early. We will start giving out the balls and assigning the
courts before 8am. You must have your shoes on and be ready to go on the
court when you check-in. When we call you if you are not ready you can
be penalized under the USTA point penalty system for the delay. We do
our best to keep this event moving and on time. Please remember that per
Friend at Court late penalties start at match time for all players
scheduled for that time as long as 1 court is available. Draws will be
updated on line throughout the day. Racquet stringing will be available
on site for $20.00 if you have your string. (Prices vary for the string
if we are using ours.)

Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, October 27, 2016 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
