If you want to play doubles, WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!! Please call or text 432-349-8920 (limit calls from 7am - 10pm CST; text anytime) or email armsracquetshop@yahoo.com to be included in the draw. Make sure to get a confirmation text/email. PLEASE check bulk mail, to see if we have already attempted to contact you about being paired with another player! SIGNING UP FOR DOUBLES ONLINE DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SPOT IN THE DRAW! But you do not have to signup for doubles online, to be included in the Doubles draw. IMPORTANT: Doubles event consists of a single-elimination draw (8-game Pro-Set) with matches beginning Saturday, October 8th at 8:15am (2 rounds of singles to follow). There will be 3/4 Playoff in doubles. Make sure to double-check your start times!

TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN INFO
Early bird check-in is scheduled from 6-10pm, Friday, October 7th at Midland College Tennis Center. Tournament T-shirts and player bags will be available during early check-in and throughout the tournament. Tournament players are welcome to practice at Midland College w/o paying courts fees. However, if you arrive in Midland after dark, please be aware that Midland College does not have lights. PLAYERS NOT CHECKING IN FRI NIGHT MUST HAVE BOTH REQUIRED FORMS (Tracking Form and USTA Medical Waiver) FILLED COMPLETELY BEFORE PLAY ON SATURDAY OR YOU MAY FAX IN ADVANCE TO (432) 699-7301. The Chamber also provides additional funds for player amenities, based on the number of out-of-town players our tournaments bring to Midland. DRAW and FORMAT INFORMATION
THE SINGLES IS A 32 DRAW. ALL SINGLES MATCHES IN THE MAIN DRAW WILL BE THE BEST 2 OUT OF 3 TIE-BREAK SETS, REGULAR SCORING. ALL CONSOLATION MATCHES WILL BE 2 SETS REGULAR SCORING, AND A 10 MATCH-TIE BREAK IN LIEU OF THE 3RD SET. THE SINGLES WILL HAVE A FEED-IN DRAW CHAMPIONSHIP THAT FEEDS PLAYERS THROUGH THE ROUND OF 16. QUARTERFINAL LOSERS WILL BE FED INTO A SEPARATE DRAW TO PLAYOFF FOR 5TH AND 6TH PLACE. BOTH SINGLES AND DOUBLES WILL HAVE A PLAYOFF FOR 3RD AND 4TH PLACE. ALL DOUBLES THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE AN 8 GAME PRO SET, WITH A 7 POINT TIE-BREAK AT 8 GAMES ALL. Day 1: Two Main Draw Singles, one consolation singles, one-two doubles (some divisions might play doubles before their singles) Day 2: Two Main Draw Singles, two consolation singles, Quarterfinal Playoff consolation, one-two doubles (some divisions might play doubles before their singles) Day 3: Finals & 3/4 Playoff (Main Draw), two consolation singles, Quarterfinal Playoff consolation, doubles (Finals & 3/4 Playoff)

TRAINER and STRINGING INFO
Tennis stringers and medical trainers will be available on-site @ MIDLAND COLLEGE TENNIS CENTER. If you need their assistance, please go to Midland College or call 432-686-4266 to make arrangements. (Price for string jobs vary. Standard price with player's string provided is $20.) Trainer assistance is provided to all players, free of charge. They will both be on-site 15-30 minutes before the first matches of the day.

*** PARKING ISSUES AT MIDLAND COLLEGE ***
PLEASE do not park "on the circle" at Midland College Tennis Center. We realize that parking is limited. But the weekend campus security officers are VERY SERIOUS about keeping the circle open to through traffic. They are aware we will be starting early on Saturday and Sunday and will probably be ticketing cars parked there.

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO IN MIDLAND?

wooden puppet who longs to become real was originally conceived by Italian
writer Carlo Collodi in his novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio. Adapted for our
stage by Bill Williams for the Pickwick Players, observe this tale of calamity
and misfortune. Pinocchio leaves his home and creator, Geppetto, to explore an
unfamiliar world finding mostly trouble. The little wooden rascal encounters a
series of dubious characters, including a fox and cat that have nothing but bad

The Durham Children's Museum offers a variety of hands-on, interactive exhibitions that create an exciting learning experience for children of all ages. A rotating exhibition space offers 4 to 5 diverse and education-based exhibitions a year. A permanent exhibition space called "My Town" is a two-story, child-sized cityscape featuring a bank, construction site, Victorian house, grocery store and more.
