BOYS' DRAW
Due to withdraws of seeded players, the boys' draw has been slightly adjusted in accordance with USTA rules to preserve its integrity.

NEW BALANCE HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP, PRESENTED BY USTA
The New Balance High School Tennis Championship, presented by USTA, is a tournament for the best interscholastic tennis players in the country at Harvard University in Boston, MA from July 20-23, 2015. All entrants MUST have participated on their respective varsity high school teams. On July 23rd the tournament will honor one boy and one girl as the New Balance High School Tennis Champion. There are no national or sectional USTA points for this tournament. This a national level event and it is listed on the USTA national schedule.

LOCATION: BEREN TENNIS CENTER AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY
This state-of-the-art center boasts 18 courts, six of which feature stadium seating. The center which accommodates nearly 500 spectators features a two-tiered pavilion with locker rooms, a media center, offices and court viewing areas. Combined with the six indoor courts at the Murr Center, the nationally ranked Harvard University tennis teams have perhaps the finest facilities of any team in the Northeast.

SPECIAL WILDCARD OPPORTUNITY INTO AN ITF EVENT
Champions of the New Balance High School Tennis Championship, presented by USTA will be awarded WILDCARDS into the main draw of the International Hard Court Championships held in College Park, Maryland.

SELECTION PROCESS AND SEEDING
The most readily available and effective ratings system along with fair geographic distribution will be used to determine the selections. Seeding for this tournament will be based on the Universal Tennis rating (UTR) system. Results from this tournament will be imported into the UTR system, which provides players a credit towards their UTR. DRAWS AND MATCH PLAY FORMAT
The draw size will be boys and girls 64 singles draws. It will be non-elimination, compass draw format so each player is guaranteed no fewer than four matches. Each player will be expected to play placement matches through Thursday. All matches will be best two out of three tiebreak sets.

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT HOTEL
We will be returning to the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Overlooking Boston. The reservation link lists the room rate at $219 however New Balance will offset the cost of the hotel for the accepted participants by $80. The special discounted rate of $139 per night will be applied at check-in. This rate is based on a standard double room. Any upgraded reservations will only be discounted by $80. Your credit card will not be charged prior to check out. Full breakfast buffet vouchers will be provided to the athlete only. Discounted breakfast is available to all other hotel guests for $19, inclusive of tax and gratuity. The deadline to receive the group rate is July 3, 2015. TRANSPORTATION
Free transportation will be provided between the Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Overlooking Boston and the Beren Tennis Center beginning Sunday afternoon at 3pm through the end of the tournament on Thursday afternoon. Beginning Monday morning, tournament transportation from the hotel to the site will begin at 6am and end one hour after match play concludes. Transportation from the hotel to nightly special events sponsored by the tournament will be provided to all players. Additionally, the Hyatt Regency Cambridge provides a complimentary shuttle for its hotel guests to Harvard Square, Kendall Square, CambridgeSide Galleria and the BU West T-Stop. The hotel shuttle runs on a continuous basis from 7am-9pm and is based on availability. Parking on-site at the Beren Tennis Center is free. Discounted overnight parking at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge is available for $20 per day.

LUNCH ON-SITE SPONSORED BY NEW BALANCE AND USTA
Complimentary boxed lunches will be provided on-site to the athletes only Monday-Wednesday, compliments of New Balance and the USTA.

SUNDAY JULY 19TH: PLAYER REGISTRATION
Player registration will take place in the Thomas Paine room at the official hotel, the Hyatt Regency Cambridge Overlooking Boston from 3-8pm. Please remember to bring your medical release and waiver forms with you to check in. These forms are available to download from the official website, www.nbtennischampionship.com. If you are traveling alone under the age of 18, please have a legal guardian sign your forms prior to arrival in Boston. If you have any questions, please contact Ellah Nze at nze@usta.com.

MONDAY JULY 20TH: WELCOME DINNER
The Welcome Dinner will take place on Monday night at the spectacular, Hall of History located at Harvard University. This event is for players only.

TUESDAY JULY 21ST: CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BLUE MAN GROUP AND PIZZA PARTY
On Tuesday night there will be a pizza party for the players on site at the Beren Tennis Center beginning at 4pm. Then the players will depart from the host hotel to the Charles Playhouse theater to experience the entertaining Blue Man Group show. Please note tickets to the show will be provided to the players only.

WEDNESDAY JULY 22ND: TRIP TO FENWAY PARK
On Wednesday night players will depart from the host hotel to explore Fenway Park, the oldest ballpark in the MLB. Dinner and dessert will be provided at the ballpark. This event is for players only. More details to follow.

THURSDAY JULY 23RD: CLOSING AND AWARDS CEREMONY
Closing and awards ceremony will take place at approximately 2pm following the finals and placement matches. Please plan your travel arrangements for a Thursday afternoon departure after the closing ceremony.

STRINGING
Racquet stringing will be available on site throughout the tournament. If you have your own string, it is $20 per racquet. If you need to request string, it is $25 for synthetic gut and $30 for polyester and all other string types. Racquet stringing drop off and pick up will be located in the upstairs office of the Beren Tennis Center.

Players are selected manually by the tournament director after the close of registration.
Entry to this tournament is open to all USTA members. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 18, 2015 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
