WITHDRAWING FROM THE TOURNAMENT AFTER THE START OF PLAY
Players wishing to withdraw from the singles and/or doubles for any reason must notify the Tournament Director and the Tournament Referee in person prior to leaving town. If the reason is due to injury or illness, the player will be asked to meet with the Tournament Director and/or the Referee and the Athletic Trainer to verify the illness or injury. Players failing to follow these procedures will be defaulted unless, in the case of an injury or illness, a written verification from a medical professional is received by August 8th, or in the case of a personal emergency a written explanation is received by August 8th and Referee must determine that the situation is a personal emergency.

TRAINING SESSIONS
Get prepared and get acclimated to Arkansas - with a hitting session on the courts you'll be playing on! Each 90 minute session is supervised by USPTA and USPTR coaches. You may sign up for more than one session if space is available. Fees are non-refundable after July 31st. Each player should check in 15 minutes prior to session start time. . ON SITE ALTERNATES
Any Alternate desiring admittance must check in no later than 30 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate. The order of the alternates is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent National Standings List, and not in the order in which the alternates check in.

DAILY SPORTSMANSHIP RECOGNITION
It pays to be a good sport at the National Boys’ 12s Championship!!
Each day tournament officials will be recognizing players who exhibit good sportsmanship on court and will give them a coupon for a free TCBY yogurt. The coupon can be redeemed at any time in the tournament room where we will have the yogurt onsite. In addition, for each coupon a player receives during the tournament, his name will be placed in a drawing for a $50 ITunes gift card. The drawing will be held on Friday, August 7. If the player is not present, the card will be mailed to his home address.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY
Players who meet the residency requirements, the USTA age eligibility requirements, and USTA membership requirements may enter. Players must be endorsed by their Section to be selected for the tournament as a competitor or as an alternate.

WITHDRAWALS BEFORE THE START OF PLAY
If you are selected and must withdraw from the tournament, please notify us as soon as possible. This will be a help to others waiting to get into the tournament. All withdrawals after the deadline must be made in writing by email, cindy@arktennis.com. Withdrawals after the deadline must include player name, USTA number, a detailed reason for the withdrawal, mailing address, phone number, and a written verification.

LATE ENTRIES
Entries have closed (July 2 ,11:59 am Eastern). Late entries will only be accepted by email, cindy@arktennis.com. Be sure to include the player's USTA number, section and contact information. No late entries will be accepted by phone. All late entries will be placed at the bottom of the alternates list in the order the requests are received. Players must be on the endorsement list for their section to be placed on the late entry list.

WILSON US OPEN BALLS
The tournament will use Wilson US Open Extra Duty balls.

Players are selected from a variety of National Lists and generally require Section endorsement.
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, July 2, 2015 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
