WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event the tournament experiences inclement weather please follow these helpful instructions.
For the most up-to-the minute tournament messages, follow me on TWITTER at http://twitter.com/catadirector. In addition,
I routinely (every 1 to 1 1/2 hours) update this website with details about weather delays, and when play is anticipated to resume. If you do not have internet access readily available to you, your hotels generally do in their business centers. Please use their internet services to access our tournament homepage for updates. This will help you know when to return to your site for match play and help the tournament run more smoothly by reducing unnecessary phone calls. You may also call the CATA office for updates at 512 443-1342 on Saturday and Sunday ONLY. Our office voice mail will have updates for you as well. However, this is more difficult to stay on top of so your most up-to-date info can be found via TWITTER or by viewing our tournament homepage.

ON-SITE ALTERNATES
On-Site Alternates. The Tournament Committee has established a procedure for checking in on-site alternates, which will follow these instructions below.
• On each day in which alternates may be accepted into a draw, any alternate desiring admittance must check in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event for which they are an alternate.
• The order of the alternates is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent National Standings List, and not in the order in which the players check in.
On-Site Alternates may be admitted into the singles main draw to replace withdrawing players until the completion of the first round of play. Any player receiving a bye in the first round can also be replaced by an on-site alternate in the second round because this player has not yet played a match in the event. This does not apply to players receiving retirements as these are considered matches won.
