ATTENTION: Print out and complete your MEDICAL RELEASE Forms and bring them with you when you CHECK-IN for your first round match......THANK YOUAll players MUST ‘Check-In’ at the tournament desk on WEDNESDAY at least 30-minutes PRIOR to their scheduled first-round match. To ‘Check-In, players will need to provide their completed MEDICAL RELEASE FORM. This will be much quicker process if you can complete the form and bring the completed form with you when you register for the tournament. Please see the message further below (MEDICAL RELEASE FORM) that includes a link to the form). ALSO - We need your local contact information and the name of the hotel you are staying at, before we can give you your complimentary t-shirt.

ALL PLAYERS, the USTA requires a medical release form that is SIGNED by the PARENT or GUARDIAN. NOTE: A PLAYER’S COACH or ANY OTHER ADULT WHO IS NOT THE LEGAL GUARDIAN MAY NOT SIGN THE RELEASE FOR THE PLAYER/PARENT. To help speed up the check in process, PLEASE click on “More Info” at the end of this message to print the form fill it out and bring it to the tournament. IMPORTANT DOUBLES INFO
Players selected into the singles draw will have the option to play doubles. ....Players who have been selected to play singles and want to play doubles, MUST EMAIL THE Tournament Director BEFORE 11:00 PM SUNDAY, JUNE 30th......SIGNING UP FOR DOUBLES ONLINE with TennisLink DOES NOT GUARANTEE you a spot in the doubles draw!.....ALL DOUBLES TEAMS NEED TO EMAIL ME YOUR DOUBLES PARTNER IF YOU KNOW WHO IT IS - ASAP...... The Doubles draw is single elimination and will consist of 16 teams max and will have a MANDATORY 3rd-4th place playoff. All doubles matches will be an 8-game Pro Set with a match tiebreaker at 8-8, win by 2.first.serve@verizon.net

The Selection Process is now complete! The ORDERED ALTERNATE LIST has been posted. The Alternate List was ordered using the most recent National Standings List (NSL) and will NOT change when the new NSL comes out. Alternates may appear on more than one alternate list. As a courtesy to other players, if you have no intention of traveling to Long Beach, CA to play in this National, PLEASE email us immediately and let us know so we can remove your name from our Alternate List. If you appear on this Alternate List please make sure your contact information is up to date. When a spot becomes available, we will need an accurate telephone number and email address to get in contact with you.

We're sorry if you missed the entry deadline BUT it is no longer possible for you to be included on the list of online entrants for this tournament. If you would like to be added as a LATE ENTRANT to the Alternate list, please email tournament director at first.serve@verizon.net with your name, USTA number, and any phone numbers that you would like us to have. ALL late entrants will be added the Alternate list BEHIND the online entrants, in the order received. The Ordered Alternate List will be posted on this tournament homepage by WED, June 12. SCORING FORMAT - USTA NTIONAL O
This tournament will include a feed-in CONSOLATION Draw and a 3rd-4th place playoff for the Singles Draw. The scoring format for Main Draw Singles will be the best of 3 tiebreak sets. The scoring format for the CONSOLATION Draw will be the best of 2 tiebreak sets with a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a 3rd set. Players losing in any main draw singles round through the quarterfinals will be entered in the consolation draw. Play in the Consolation Draw is mandatory, as is the 3rd-4th place playoff.

AIRPORT INFO:
The Long Beach Airport (LGB) is 3.61 miles from the El Dorado Park Tennis Center. The Los Angeles Airport (LAX) is 24.2 miles through heavy traffic & John Wayne Airport (SNA) is 19.5 miles. If you can get a flight into Long Beach Airport or John Wayne Airport would be a whole lot easier than LAX.
