2011 Summer JTT Sectional Championships

Team matches will consist of 6 singles and 3 doubles matches... Doubles matches will be played prior to singles matches... Team match winners will be determined by overall individual matches won (total 9 matches)... Singles players can play doubles as well... Scoring Format: Singles matches will play best 2 out of 3 sets, no ad scoring, with a 10 point match tie-breaker in lieu of a 3rd set... Doubles matches will play 8 game pro-set, no ad scoring, with a match tiebreak at 8 games all.

Team matches will consist of 1 boys' singles & 1 girls' singles, 1 boys' doubles & 1 girls' doubles, and 1 mixed doubles match... Team match winners will be determined by total of overall GAMES won... Each player may not play more than TWO individual matches per team match. In no event may one player play in three individual matches... Scoring format will be best 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets, no ad scoring, with a 3rd set match tie breaker. Winner of the 3rd set tiebreaker will win the set 1-0.

There will be a $100 deposit for each team that qualifies to the Sectional Championships. There will also be a $10 charge per player who will be participating in the event. Players will receive a 2011 Junior Team Tennis Sectional Championships t-shirt. This process will be done by coaches/captains only. Coaches and Captains, if your team(s) qualify for the Sectional Championships, please send an email to Darren Wenger at Wenger@NorCal.USTA.com to confirm that your team will be coming to the event. The deadline is August 1, 2011 at 5pm. Please don't be late, we won't accept it.

Coaches, Parents, and Players remember to bring shade/canopy, drinks, sun block, ice chest to keep things cool.

Clovis North High School (CNHS) & Granite Ridge (GR) - 2270 East International Avenue, Fresno, CA 93730. Clovis North HS and Granite Ridge tennis courts are located on the same street, but on two different locations. Some matches will be played on Granite Ridge courts, but coaches and players need to check in at Clovis North HS desk.
