4th of JULY RAIN SCHEDULE!!
The rain schedule for Wednesday July 4th is as follows. 9:00 am Girls 16's consolation quarter finals. 10:30 am Boys and Girls 16's singles final. 10:30 Boys consolation quarter fianls. 12:30 Boys and Girls 3 and 4th place play/ off. 12:30 Girls consolation semi- finals. 1:00 pm Boys consolation semi-fianls. This schedule will only be followed if the outdorr courts are not playable. If the weather at the club is fine we will continue with the current schedule posted on the web site.

CHECK -IN
Tournamnet Check-in will begin on Sunday 7/1/12 from 3-5 p.m. at tennis center #1 at the Atlantic Club.
Check-in will resume at 7:00 a.m. Monday morning 7/2/12 at tennis center #1 at the Atlantic Club. On site alternates can check-in starting Monday morning. The First matches on Monday morning will be doubles and will start pomptly at 8:30 a.m.

Match Formats
•Main Draw Singles (including for 3rd & 4th place): Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets, mandatory ten minute rest period between second and third set where coaching is allowed.
•Feed-In Matches: Best of 3 Tiebreak Sets with a 10-Point Match Tiebreak in Lieu of a 3rd Set, madatory three minute rest period between second set and 10-Point Match Tiebreak where coaching is allowed.
•Doubles Matches: 8 Game Pro Set with a 10-Point Match

PRACTICE COURTS
Outdoor Practice courts will be available at the Atlantic Club starting 12:00 p.m. on Sunday 7/1. The club closes on Sunday 6:00 p.m. Practice courts will be available on Monday morning starting at 7:00 a.m. prior to the first matches. Practice courts on 7/1 and 7/2 are on a first come basis. Players must share courts for warm up.

DOUBLES
All players wishing to play doubles must e-mail me (kevinc@the atlanticclub.com) by Friday 6/29/12 by 12:00 p.m. In your e-mail please include your doubles partner. If you need a partner sign up and we will do our best to pair you with a partner. It is not the responsibility of the tournament to match a player with a partner, but we will do our very best to help. All teams comprised of 2 players in the main singles draw will be slected for the doubles draw. Teams comprised of 1 player in the main singles draw and 1 alternate may be selected if there is still room in the doubles draw. Teams comprised of 2 alternates will be selected last. The doubles event will start the first day of the tournament. All doubles matches are an 8 game pro set with a match tie-breaker (first to 10 by 2) at 8-8.

MEDICAL RELAEASE FROM
The USTA requires a medical release SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN for every player. This form must be presented at the time of the tournament registration. Please download and bring this form completed with you. Players are not allowed on court without this signed release: Medical Release

The lateness clock:
The lateness clock will start when the schedule match time has arrived, any court available, and one or both players have not arrived (checked in). The Point Penalty System Schedule for lateness must be enforced at all USTA sanctioned tournaments. It is as follows: 0 - 5 minutes: 1 Game + loss of toss 5 - 10 minutes: 2 Games + loss of toss 10 - 15 minutes: 3 Games + loss of toss > 15 minutes: Default

4 players are selected for each site from the most recent National Standings List of the next lower age division and 28 players are selected for each site from the age division of the event
Entry to this tournament is restricted. To see how entrants will be selected, follow the “Selection Process” link to the left. It is the player’s responsibility to check the selection list(s) after registering online to be sure that a check mark appears beside the player’s name on the list, in order to insure proper registration. Entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 7, 2012 11:59:00 AM Eastern Time. Only USTA members can register online if available.
